Our Story

It all started with God’s divine calling. God called Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol as an apostle in our time. Upon receiving the gift and grace of apostleship from the Lord on the third day of his praying and fasting, Apostle Arsenio embarked on a journey of a lifetime commitment to his calling as the Goodman of the House prophesied in Matthew 24:43. He bears the true gospel and the revelation from God regarding the times and seasons of the Second Coming of Christ.

In 1973, the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) was registered at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the Philippines. The early beginnings of the PMCC (4th Watch) consisted of chapters in Marikina, Cavite, Rizal, and Panay Islands.

Apostle Arsenio’s preaching of the true and unadulterated gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ soon resulted to the Church’s inevitable expansion and saw the formation of the Maranatha Bible School in 1975 as training ground for aspiring ministers of the PMCC (4th Watch).

The PMCC (4th Watch) is also known for its faithful commitment to evangelism through preaching of the gospel of Christ in houses and in public places such as markets, street corners, ports, and even in public transportations. The teachings and doctrines of the Church triumphed in public debates with other religious groups.

The Church also utilizes the use of mass media to propagate the gospel on a larger scale and provide resources for spiritual growth. It publishes doctrinal magazines such as The Word, Surer Word and more, and air empowering television programs currently broadcasting on different parts of the world through Life TV, Life Radio, Surer Word TV, and many more.

The Church also provides Christian education through more than a hundred branches of MCA (Maranatha Christian Academy) and a tertiary institution—NCLC (National Christian Life College).

In 1989, the first foreign local church was established in the US. Since then, dozens of locale chapters were established in the continents of Northern America, Europe, Australia, Africa, Asia, and Middle East. Ever since, the Church has a steady growth with over 500 local churches established all over the Philippines and over 140 churches all over the world.

Today, the Church has truly grown into a major spiritual force. In fact, the PMCC (4th Watch) was declared to be one of the fastest growing churches in Asia. Through God’s guidance and the faithful stewardship of Apostle Arsenio, the Church will continue in savoring the blessings of growth and will remain dedicated to fulfilling the work of God until the coming of Jesus Christ.Image
