Resurrection Worship Marikina Celebrates the Risen King at Marikina Sports Center

Resurrection Worship Marikina became a powerful celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ as the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) gathered at Marikina Sports Center, Marikina City, on April 5, 2026, for a church-wide worship honoring and remembering the glorious Risen King. Led by Chief Executive Minister Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, the special gathering strengthened the faith of believers as it commemorated Christ’s death, resurrection, and the promise of the Holy Spirit, reminding the Church that Jesus conquered death and lives forever.

Resurrection Worship Marikina Begins with Jesus: A Grand Senaculo Musical Play Part 2

The sunrise worship service opened with the continuation of the musical play “Jesus: A Grand Senaculo,” which had previously concluded with Christ’s crucifixion during the Home Free Global Crusade in Marikina.

This second part of the spectacular presentation portrayed the events following Christ’s death from the Roman soldiers’ warnings, the discovery of the empty tomb, the rejoicing of the believers, and finally, the glorious ascension of Jesus Christ.

The moving conclusion of the senaculo filled the hearts of worshippers with hope, gratitude, and renewed faith, reminding them that just as the early believers saw the risen Christ, they too look forward to seeing Him face-to-face.

Resurrection Worship Marikina Fills Hearts with Worship for the Risen King

Led by Pastor Nympha Bascuguin, the congregation entered into heartfelt worship through praise songs such as “Risen” and “Worthy of It All,” lifting up songs of honor and adoration to Jesus Christ, the Risen King.

As the atmosphere of worship deepened, a spirit-filled opening prayer was led by Pastor Doods Siazon, ushering the congregation into a solemn moment of reverence and thanksgiving.

Pastor Lyndon Donoog then led the reading of the Holy Scriptures from 1 Corinthians 15:1–11, reminding believers of the Gospel message centered on Christ’s death and resurrection.

The message on giving was delivered by Pastor Kirsten Ferriol, who emphasized a powerful truth: “The resurrection is not the end; it is the beginning.”

Following the giving of tithes and offerings, video highlights from the recent Home Free Global Crusade Marikina were presented. The congregation rejoiced as they witnessed the success of the evangelistic event, which recorded more than 30,000 attendees, 9,000 acceptances of Christ, and 3,541 baptisms.

The hearts of the believers were further prepared through a moving musical number by Brother Ian, Sister KC, Sister Shane, and Brother Alvin, who performed “I’ve Just Seen Jesus,” a song that beautifully emphasized how Christ’s resurrection makes believers new creations in Him.

Resurrection Worship Marikina Highlights How His Resurrection Changes Lives

In his powerful three-point message, Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol shared how Christ’s resurrection transformed the lives of the disciples, while also emphasizing that the continuation of Christ’s resurrection ministry was seen in the coming of the Holy Spirit.

First, he explained that Christ’s resurrection became the foundation of the disciples’ faith. Though they faced persecution after Christ’s ascension, they remained steadfast, courageous, and unshaken because they knew that Jesus had conquered death.

Second, he taught that the resurrection became the essence of their message. Citing Acts 2:23–24, Apostle Jonathan emphasized that the Gospel message preached by Apostle Peter centered on the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

“But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because death couldn’t keep its hold on him.”Acts 2:24

Lastly, Apostle Jonathan emphasized that Christ’s resurrection gave believers the impetus to live for and serve God. The resurrection changed the disciples’ conviction, strengthened their faith, and empowered them to remain faithful in their service despite trials and hardships.

He reminded the congregation that just as the resurrection transformed the early disciples, it continues to change the lives of believers today by giving them hope, courage, and unwavering faith.

A Worship of Hope and Healing

As the worship service came to a close, a solemn benediction was given to the congregation. Apostle Jonathan Ferriol also offered heartfelt prayers for those who were sick, broken, and weary, asking God to bring healing, comfort, and renewed strength.

The Resurrection Worship Marikina became more than a celebration it became a powerful reminder that Jesus Christ is alive, and because He lives, believers can stand firm in faith, walk in victory, and serve God with hope and purpose.
