IMUS CAVITE: Global Apostolic Visitation

A Powerful Beginning for the Year of Service

IMUS CITY, CAVITE – The Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ 4th Watch Cavite District held a powerful First Sunday Worship Service and Apostolic Visitation on January 4, 2026 at its worship hall in Malagasang, Imus, Cavite, drawing thousands of faithful worshippers who came seeking renewal, healing, and fresh direction for the year ahead.

Cavite District Head and Coordinator Archbishop Arturo T. Ferriol and Presbyter Lily Ferriol showed gratitude for the visitation of Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol and team as the district prepared to face the new year with God’s empowering and faithfulness towards service unto God.

Songs of thanksgiving and adoration echoed through the sanctuary as the congregation celebrated God’s goodness at the start of a new year. The Malagasang Praise and Worship team led the people in worship, emphasizing that true worship is not only music but service and submission to God alone.

Worship as Service and Submission

The service started with joyful songs of praise and thanksgiving. The congregation was encouraged to begin the year by lifting their hearts to God, acknowledging His sovereignty and faithfulness.

Scripture from Matthew 5:1–10 was read, highlighting the blessings of God’s kingdom and the character of true followers of Christ.

In his teaching, Apostle Jonathan stressed that worship is biblical service and submission to the one true God. Quoting Matthew 4:10, he reminded believers that Jesus said, “You must worship the Lord your God and serve him only.” He explained that worship is not a ritual but a lifestyle of loyalty, holiness, and obedience.

“Worship is not just what we sing on Sunday,” Apostle Ferriol said. “It is how we serve God every day with humility, purity, and wholehearted devotion.”

He added that true worship means surrendering every area of life to God, not just during church programs but even in the ordinary tasks of home, work, and ministry.

Apostolic Visitation and Leadership in the Church

Through this Apostolic Visitation within Cavite District, 4th watchers were encouraged to remain faithful under apostolic leadership. Apostles, he said, are God appointed gifts to the church for guidance, protection, and teaching, and believers are called to submit willingly to their spiritual authority for growth and unity.

He reminded the church of the importance of apostolic tradition, specifically the teachings and practices passed down from the Apostles as the foundation of true Christian faith.

“When we stand firm in these teachings, we are protected from false doctrines and confusion,” Apostle Jonathan added.

Leaders from the district were introduced, and their ministry and sacrifices were acknowledged, reinforcing the structure and cohesion of the church under the 4th Watch.

Faithful Giving as Apostolic Partnership

A key focus of the day was faithful giving as Apostolic partnership. According to Apostle Jonathan, contributions to the church are not merely obligations but investments in the Apostolic mission.

“Faithful giving is our partnership in expanding the church’s work, planting new congregations, and supporting mission outreaches,” he said.

He shared that love offerings have helped fund church buildings, mission campsites in the United States and Canada, and local outreach projects, underscoring how collective generosity advances the Kingdom.

The message also linked faithful stewardship to God’s promise of blessing and provision, encouraging believers to give willingly and trust in His care.

Warning Against Modern Idolatry

The Apostle also addressed the growing danger of modern idolatry, including the pursuit of money, power, fame, and over reliance on technology.

Drawing from Colossians 3:5, he reminded believers that greed and unchecked desires can become idols in the heart.

“Technology is a tool, not a god,” he warned, pointing to the risks of placing trust in artificial intelligence or social media instead of in God’s Word and prayer.

He urged the congregation to guard their hearts, keep God at the center of their lives, and reject anything that competes with their worship of the one true living God.

A Life of Service Under Apostolic Leadership

Being under the leadership of an Apostle simply means that we are under the leadership of God’s sent one and His church. As faithful servants and leaders, we are continuously dedicating ourselves, time and service until Christ’s second coming.

This Apostolic Visitation did not only mark the beginning of a new year. It strengthened the conviction of the Church to walk in holiness, remain steadfast in doctrine, and advance the mission with urgency and unity.

Legacy of Mission and Forward Direction

The Cavite District stands renewed and aligned with the global mission of the Church. With strengthened leadership, renewed worship, and a deeper understanding of Apostolic partnership, the district is poised to continue reaching communities with the message of salvation.

The call remains clear. Live in obedience. Serve with dedication. Proclaim the Gospel with boldness.

Step Into a Life of Purpose and Service

God continues to call people into a life of worship, service, and mission. This is not only a message to hear but a life to live.

Be strengthened by the Word. Be grounded in truth. Be part of a community that walks in purpose.
