A Divine Moment for the Church in the Last Days

God continues to raise moments of awakening in every generation. In this hour, He calls His Church to rise with urgency, clarity, and purpose.

A profound sense of anticipation and spiritual expectancy permeated the Northeastern Luzon District as they hosted a remarkable Apostolic Visitation led by Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, the Chief Executive Minister of the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch).

This sacred gathering was not merely an assembly of believers. It was a divinely orchestrated moment where heaven’s call met the readiness of a Church being prepared for the urgency of the times. From the very outset of the program, there was an unmistakable sense that this visitation would not only inspire, but profoundly awaken.

A Gathering Filled With Great Joy

The congregation was warmly welcomed by Sister Elijah Bustos, whose opening remarks set a tone of unity and joyful anticipation.

As the assembly settled into the sacred rhythm of the service, it became evident that this was a gathering marked not only by organization, but by spiritual hunger. The people had come not merely to attend, but to encounter.

This atmosphere deepened as the Cabagan Praise and Worship Team led the congregation into songs such as “Praise” and “Holy Forever,” lifting voices in unified adoration. The worship was vibrant yet reverent, reflecting a Church that understands the power of praise not only as expression, but as a declaration of God’s sovereignty.

A Prayer That Opens the Heavens

The opening prayer, led by Pastor Sonny Huidem, carried a depth of intercession that anchored the entire gathering.

As Coordinator of the Cagayan District and Head Pastor of Tuguegarao, his prayer was not routine. It was intentional, invoking the presence of God to saturate every moment of the visitation. His words reflected a deep desire for divine movement, calling upon God to minister to His people and to prepare their hearts for the message that would soon unfold.

Honor and Recognition: Welcoming Apostolic Leadership

In a heartfelt welcome address, Pastor Emil Reyes acknowledged the presence of distinguished guests, community representatives, and most importantly, the beloved Apostle in the end time, Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol.

His words carried both honor and gratitude, reflecting the deep respect held for apostolic leadership and the significance of such a visitation.

The presence of representatives from local government and institutions further underscored the Church’s influence. It demonstrated that its mission extends beyond its walls and into the broader community.

Anchored in the Word: A Reminder and a Promise

The reading of Luke 21:8–19 by Pastor Sonny Habil grounded the gathering in Scripture, reminding the congregation of both the warnings and promises of the last days.

The passage speaks of trials, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to God. It served as a fitting prelude to the message that would later call the Church to spiritual wakefulness.

Worship in Excellence: A Sound That Lifts the Soul

The Northeastern Chamber Orchestra offered a moving instrumental rendition of “The Prayer,” transforming the sanctuary into a space of deep reflection and reverence.

The use of wind instruments added a unique texture to the worship experience, elevating the atmosphere and allowing the congregation to engage with God in a moment beyond words.

This excellence in worship was echoed later by the Home Free Global Crusade Praise and Worship Team, whose powerful performance of “No More Night” and “Lord, You’re Holy” stirred the entire congregation to its feet.

The standing ovation that followed was not merely appreciation. It was a response to a worship that deeply resonated with the spirit.

A Vision Expanding: Media, Missions, and Global Evangelism

Through various video presentations, the Church was given a glimpse of its expanding mission.

The promotion of the Home Free Global Crusade in Marikina, including the “Jesus” Grand Senakulo musical play, revealed a creative and powerful approach to evangelism.

The introduction of Maranatha Bible School International and the Apostolic Missionary Program emphasized the Church’s commitment to raising leaders equipped for global ministry.

Additionally, platforms such as Life Radio and Home Free Radio showcased the growing reach of the Gospel through media. A particularly moving segment featured a meet and greet with radio listeners from Isabela, many of whom were not just listeners, but converts whose lives had been transformed through the broadcast ministry.

Giving with Grace: The Spirit of Apostolic Stewardship

The offertory message delivered by Bishop Reynald Sulayao centered on 2 Corinthians 9:7, emphasizing that giving must flow from a willing heart and a right spirit.

His message highlighted the essence of Apostolic giving, not as obligation, but as a reflection of one’s relationship with God.

A Message That Awakens: The Call to Spiritual Wakefulness

At the heart of the visitation was the deeply compelling message delivered by Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, drawn from Romans 13:11–14 and centered on the theme of spiritual wakefulness.

With clarity and urgency, he declared that the time for complacency has passed and that the Church must awaken from spiritual slumber.

He illustrated the progression of time through the watches of the night, emphasizing that humanity now stands at a critical moment, the final watch, where vigilance, readiness, and action are no longer optional, but essential.

The message carried a prophetic weight, calling believers to rise from spiritual lethargy and return to the vitality of true Christianity.

Spiritual wakefulness, as he explained, is not passive. It is an active pursuit.

It requires:

  • Being spiritually armed
  • Living in righteousness
  • Walking in full awareness of the times

It demands moral uprightness in a world that increasingly normalizes compromise. It calls for inward transformation that begins within and manifests outwardly in a life that reflects Christ.

This was not merely instruction. It was a call to transformation.

A Sacred Response: Surrender, Healing, and Renewal

As the message concluded, the atmosphere shifted into a moment of sacred response.

The altar call, accompanied by the song “Here’s My Life,” invited believers to surrender fully to God. It was a moment marked by humility, reflection, and renewed commitment.

In this space, the message became personal. Lives were touched. Hearts were renewed.

The visitation concluded with a strengthened sense of purpose as the Church was reminded of its calling in these last days.

Through the final presentation of 4th Watch Media, the congregation was given a vision of a Church that continues to expand its reach, utilizing every platform to proclaim the Gospel.

A Church Awakened for the Final Watch

This Apostolic Visitation was not simply an event to be remembered. It was a moment of awakening, a call to rise, and a commissioning for the work ahead.

It left an indelible mark on the hearts of believers, strengthening them and aligning them with the mission of God in these last days.
