Young and Apostolic: Ministers’ Children Strengthen Faith and Purpose in MC Camp 2026
Imus, Cavite Through the initiative of Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, ministers’ children gathered at the AATF Sports Complex on April 19-21, 2026 in PMCC (4th Watch) Malagasang for the second year since the camp’s return. Carrying the theme “Torchbearers: Young and Apostolic,” the Minister’s Children Camp brought together participants from across the Philippines and around the world for a time of fellowship, connection, and spiritual growth.
Led by Apostle Jonathan, the Ministers’ Children Committee organized the camp as an interactive and engaging event where participants could share personal experiences, build friendships, and strengthen their sense of belonging within the church community. The gathering provided a meaningful space for reflection, gratitude, and appreciation of God’s goodness in their lives.
The camp officially opened with Welcome Night, an evening filled with praise and anticipation as the three-day event commenced. Bishop Aldrin Palanca delivered the opening message titled “The Blessings of Being Ministers’ Children,”highlighting the unique calling and privilege of being part of a ministerial family.
“You have been blessed to be bearers of apostolic heritage, with early access to God’s gift, power, and the good deposit of calling and ministry,” Bishop Aldrin emphasized.
A Moment of Connection and Reflection
The second day focused on deepening understanding of purpose while encouraging participants to reflect on their lived experiences as ministers’ children. A series of seminars were conducted to guide them in navigating faith and life within the church.
Sessions included:
- Attorney Benjamin Sico on “The Role of Faith in Making Life Choices”
- Pastor Gladys Rubonal on “Discovering God’s Purpose in Our Journey”
- Pastor Eunice Quizol on “Building Resilience Through Faith”
- Pastor Archie Ferriol, who led an open discussion on “Conversations of Faith”
Following the seminars, the Ministers’ Children Committee facilitated Connect and Reflection Sessions, where participants were grouped together to share insights and personal experiences related to their unique journey. These sessions created a safe and meaningful environment for dialogue, strengthening their connection with one another as part of a shared calling.
The day concluded with a bonfire fellowship, where participants gathered in a circle for a night of praise, worship, and testimonies. Songs of worship filled the atmosphere, while stories of faith were shared by Dr. Faith Ibarbia, Pastor Adisell De Guzman, and Brother Jemuel Verano. Their testimonies highlighted how God’s love and grace remain evident through every season of life.
Sister Febe and Brother Neo Palanca also offered a song of praise, further uplifting the spirit of the gathering. The highlight of the evening was the message of God delivered by Presbyter Levi Ferriol, who emphasized the distinct calling of ministers’ children.
“The very blood that flows in your veins is priestly blood. God had many choices, yet He chose you,” he shared, reminding participants of their God-given identity and purpose. Presbyter Levi stated during the Bonfire Fellowship
A Joyful Finale: Strengthening Bonds and Celebrating Purpose
The third and final day of the camp was filled with excitement as the Ministers’ Children proudly raised their team flags and participated in one of the most anticipated highlights of the event—the Amazing Race. Energy and enthusiasm filled the AATF Sports Complex as participants engaged in a series of challenges across the entire compound. Each station tested their critical thinking, teamwork, and strategic skills as they worked together to complete every task. The teams also showcased their creativity through spirited yells, proudly representing their colors and identity. Throughout the day, genuine connections were strengthened, friendships were deepened, and lasting bonds were formed.
As the day drew to a close, the camp culminated in a meaningful closing service, marking the end of a three day gathering filled with fellowship, growth, and the continuous manifestation of God’s grace. The Ministers’ Children Camp stood as a celebration of lives chosen by God to serve within His Church. During the Dedication Service, significant milestones and spiritual growth were recognized among the participants.
Presbyter Lily Ferriol graced the occasion by sharing an open letter addressed to the ministers’ children, offering words of encouragement, affirmation, and comfort. She reminded them of their personal journey with God and the importance of embracing their calling.

Your life, more than anything we desire for you, is not just about following our lives, but to discover a life with God for yourself not because of us, but because you have chosen the Lord.” Presbyter Lily highlighted during the Dedication Worship
The service concluded with an atmosphere filled with praise, joy, and deep reflection on God’s unending grace. Strengthened in faith and identity, the participants were reminded of their role as torchbearers called to grow, lead, and continue the apostolic mission.
The camp truly became a place of belonging a home where ministers’ children experienced a strong sense of community. It was both a joyful and enriching experience, where God’s presence was evident in every moment. More than just an event, it was a powerful declaration that as Ministers’ Children, they are indeed young and apostolic, ready to carry the torch passed on to them.
