PMCC 4th Watch Cadets Stage Camp on Spiritual Growth and Service
Cadets Camp 2026 Inspires Young Believers to Grow Up Like Jesus
IMUS, CAVITE – Campers from the Cadets Department of the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) poured their boundless energy into serving God during the spirited Cadets Camp 2026, themed “Growing Up Like Jesus” based on Colossians 1:28. The three-day event, held from May 6–8, 2026, took place at the expansive AATF Sports Complex in the Malagasang Locale vicinity.
With eagerness and a burning love for Jesus, the campers experienced unforgettable highlights, including Talents Night, the high-energy Mass Demo, and the much-anticipated annual literary and singing competitions. Each day began with morning devotions, joyful cheers, and spirit-filled yells echoing from every dormitory, setting a triumphant tone throughout the camp.
From uplifting morning worship to powerful evening services, every session infused the congregation with renewed energy and spiritual joy.
Pastor Eunice Ferriol-Quizol passionately reminded the children to stay deeply connected with God, emphasizing that this is the path to growing just like Jesus.
“We are created to grow closer to Jesus every day. We need God’s Word to guide us, God’s Spirit to strengthen us, and God’s Church to help us grow faithfully. When we stay connected to God, our lives begin to look more and more like Jesus,” she said during the inspiring Day 1 Morning Worship.
God-Given Talents for His Greater Glory
The cadets immersed themselves in the camp with joy and unstoppable energy, channeling their unique talents for God’s greater glory.
Talents Night on the first evening became one of the camp’s highlights as children lit up the stage with God-inspired performances in singing, dancing, and musical presentations. Each district glorified God through heartfelt performances under the guidance of their dedicated advisers.
Presbyter Levi Ferriol emphasized to the children that everything they do in the Church should bring honor to God.
“Use your talents not for people, but for the Lord. Keep His Word in your heart, choose to love, walk in obedience, and trust Him in all you do because everything we do is for God,” he said during the powerful Day 1 Evening Worship.
The excitement continued during Day 2 evening service as cadets showcased their creativity in the grand Mass Demo, one of the camp’s standout activities.
Pastor Gladys Quillao-Rubonal delivered a stirring message, sharing a powerful testimony about PMCC (4th Watch) Chief Executive Minister Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, who once proudly served as a cadet himself.
“Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol was once a cadet who loved Jesus. Today, he leads the entire Church, and your bright future takes shape right now. Follow Apostle Jonathan in loving Jesus and serving the Church because today’s cadets become tomorrow’s visionary church leaders,” she concluded during Day 2 Evening Worship.
Church Services that Fuel Spiritual Growth
As Apostle Jonathan continues to teach the older generation to serve God with unwavering devotion, these same timeless teachings are also shaping the lives of the children.
Through the tireless efforts and wise guidance of each dorm counselor, the cadets absorbed inspiring messages from God’s anointed servants. These empowering teachings reignited their passion and encouraged every child to dedicate their young lives fully to God.
During the Dedication Service, Pastor Abigail Ferriol-Pascual shared a profound message on what it means to be a Christlike child.
“A Christlike child has the heart of Jesus, who loves the unlovable. He has the mind of Jesus, who stays humble and obedient to God. He has the feet of Jesus, who follows God every day,” she said.
Being a Christlike child means walking in unity with the mind of Christ through His sent ones, growing in faith, obedience, and love for God.
Growing Up Like Jesus: Raising Tomorrow’s Church Leaders
More than a camp filled with fun and activities, Cadets Camp 2026 became a life-shaping spiritual experience for the children. Through worship, fellowship, competitions, and powerful messages, the young campers were reminded that growing up like Jesus requires faithfulness, obedience, and a deep connection with God.
As the camp concluded, the cadets left with renewed joy, strengthened faith, and a greater desire to serve God proving that today’s Christlike children are being prepared as tomorrow’s faithful and visionary Church leaders.
