A Divine Intent: The Soft Launch of the AATF Global Prayer Mountain
PMCC (4th Watch) Soft Launches AATF Global Prayer Mountain in Benguet
TUBA, BENGUET — The Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) reached a historic milestone on June 13, 2026, with the formal soft launch of the Apostle Arsenio Tan Ferriol (AATF) Global Prayer Mountain, a sprawling sanctuary nestled in the mountainous region of Tuba, Benguet.
The newly established prayer mountain stands as the realization of a long-envisioned project designed to strengthen the church’s global administrative, spiritual, and operational capabilities. Developed as a center for prayer, leadership development, and ministry activities, the facility represents another significant step forward in the church’s continuing expansion both in the Philippines and abroad.
A Historic Gathering of Global Church Leaders
Church leaders, bishops, members of the Apostle’s Council, and District Coordinators from various parts of the world gathered for the landmark occasion, underscoring the significance of the development for the worldwide ministry.
The event commenced with a sacred consecration and ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, who officially opened the facility before the assembled delegation. The moment marked the culmination of years of planning, development, and collective effort from church leaders, workers, and supporters who shared the vision of establishing a dedicated global prayer sanctuary.
“I am personally honored to cut the ribbon to signal the official opening of the AATF Global Prayer Mountain,” Apostle Jonathan declared during the ceremony.
Prayer of Dedication and Appointment of Custodians
Following the ribbon-cutting, Apostle Jonathan offered a dedicatory prayer, formally consecrating the grounds as a “lugar ng kaligtasan, kapayapaan, at kagalakan sa magsisigamit” (a place of salvation, peace, and joy for all who utilize it).
The prayer emphasized the spiritual purpose of the facility and its intended role as a place where believers can seek God, find encouragement, and strengthen their faith.
To oversee the stewardship and maintenance of the property, church leadership appointed Bishop Reynald P. Sulayao and Northwestern Luzon District Coordinator Presbyter Yollie A. Sulayao as designated custodians of the facility. Their appointment reflects the church’s commitment to ensuring the proper management and preservation of the prayer mountain for future generations.
Honoring the Legacy of Apostle Arsenio Tan Ferriol
A significant highlight of the program was the unveiling of a memorial bust honoring the late Apostle Arsenio Tan Ferriol, whose enduring legacy inspired the establishment of the global prayer sanctuary bearing his name.
The tribute served as a reminder of his pioneering leadership, unwavering faith, and lifelong dedication to advancing the mission of the church worldwide.
Recognizing the Builders Behind the Vision
The celebration also recognized the engineers, architects, and construction teams whose expertise brought the ambitious mountain development project to completion.
In his address, Bishop Reynald P. Sulayao commended the technical team for their dedication, professionalism, and precision in executing the facility’s structural design despite the challenges associated with building within a mountainous environment.
Unveiling the Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol Auditorium
The ceremony continued with the symbolic turnover of the facility key to Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol and the official unveiling of the newly constructed Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol Auditorium, a high-capacity venue designed to accommodate conferences, seminars, worship gatherings, and other major ministry events.
The auditorium is expected to become a central venue for local and international church activities.
Apostle Jonathan Shares the Apostolic Vision for Expansion
Delivering the keynote message, Apostle Jonathan provided the Apostolic perspective behind the church’s continuing expansion.
Expansion of the Lot of the Righteous
Drawing from John 8:6–7, he expounded on God’s intentionality and divine purpose, likening the development of the prayer mountain to the biblical principle of the “expansion of the lot of the righteous.”
He emphasized that God’s work continues to advance through faithful stewardship, vision, and obedience.
A Catalyst for Global Mission
He further explained that the construction of the facility is not merely a physical achievement but a reflection of the ongoing spiritual growth and awakening taking place throughout the global church.
According to Apostle Jonathan, the prayer mountain represents a catalyst for greater mobilization, deeper consecration, and renewed commitment to the worldwide mission of the church.
A Strategic Hub for the Future of the Global Church
The launch of the AATF Global Prayer Mountain highlights a core principle within the PMCC (4th Watch): physical expansion follows spiritual and institutional growth.
As the church’s ministry, teachings, and global reach continue to develop, its facilities must likewise expand to support the growing needs of members, leaders, and ministry initiatives across different nations.
Designed to serve as a center for large-scale retreats, leadership conferences, administrative seminars, and international prayer gatherings, the AATF Global Prayer Mountain is poised to become a vital operational hub for the church.
More than a landmark development, it stands as a testament to the ministry’s commitment to strengthening its global mission, fostering spiritual renewal, and preparing for future growth in the years ahead.
