Young Professionals and Young Adults Month concluded with a historic celebration as the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) successfully wrapped up its first-ever month-long observance, equipping young professionals and young adults to become faithful disciples, Christ-centered leaders, and effective servants of God.

IMUS CITY, CAVITE — The Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) celebrated another historic milestone with the successful conclusion of its first-ever Young Professionals and Young Adults (YPYA) Month, culminating in a spirit-filled closing service at the PMCC (4th Watch) Malagasang Locale.

The month-long celebration, spearheaded by the International Young Watchers Department (IYWD), showcased the Church’s commitment to equipping young professionals and young adults to become faithful disciples, Christ-centered leaders, and effective servants of God in their workplaces, communities, and ministries.

Throughout the celebration, participants expressed heartfelt gratitude to Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, Chief Executive Minister of the PMCC (4th Watch), whose vision continues to inspire ministries that strengthen every generation of believers. Special appreciation was likewise extended to Pastor Abigail Ferriol Pascual, Adviser of the International Young Watchers Department, for her leadership and guidance in making the inaugural YPYA Month a meaningful and successful endeavor.

First-Ever YPYA Month Strengthens Faith, Fellowship, and Leadership

The launch of Young Professionals and Young Adults Month marked a new chapter in the ministry of the PMCC (4th Watch), recognizing the unique calling of young professionals and young adults as active partners in fulfilling the Church’s mission of evangelism, discipleship, and spiritual growth.

Throughout the month, local churches organized worship services, fellowship activities, leadership programs, and ministry engagements that encouraged participants to deepen their relationship with God while strengthening connections with fellow believers.

The celebration emphasized that Christian maturity extends beyond church gatherings and should be reflected in every area of life including careers, business, education, family, and community service.

By providing opportunities for learning, fellowship, and ministry involvement, YPYA Month encouraged participants to become faithful witnesses of Christ wherever God has placed them.

Young Professionals Forum Offers Biblical Guidance for Everyday Life

One of the highlights of the celebration was the Young Professionals Forum, held during the closing service, where church leaders shared biblical and practical insights on balancing faith, career, ministry, and personal growth.

Serving as panelists were Pastor Abigail Ferriol Pascual, Pastor Gladys Quillao-Robunal, Pastor Archie Ferriol, and Presbyter Levi Ferriol. Together, they addressed the challenges commonly faced by today’s young professionals while encouraging participants to remain firmly rooted in biblical truth.

Pastor Abigail reminded attendees that genuine Christianity should influence every aspect of daily living.

“Our spiritual life must be our nature, and our nature is not something we switch on and off. It’s something we carry with us wherever we go. That’s why we can’t compartmentalize our work life and our ministry in the church.”

Pastor Gladys Quillao-Robunal emphasized that authentic Christianity transforms lives through faithful obedience to God’s Word.

“Christianity, in its entirety, makes us better people. It leads us to self-actualization not because of who we are, but because of the product of what we’ve been hearing, the way we’ve been attending, and the way we’ve been living our lives.”

Meanwhile, Pastor Archie Ferriol encouraged young adults to make responsible decisions guided by biblical and Apostolic principles.

“If you make a choice, be ready for the consequence. Tayong mga adult ay dapat maging responsable sa ating mga pagpapasiya. Dapat ang ating mga pagpapasiya ay nakaugat sa maka-Apostol na prinsipyo.”

Presbyter Levi Ferriol likewise challenged participants to pursue excellence both professionally and spiritually.

“We need to have a ministry in the church, and we need to integrate our lives into the ministry because ministry is a professional job too. We are busy building our professional careers, but we also have a responsibility to build our spiritual lives.”

The forum resonated deeply with attendees by providing practical biblical wisdom for navigating modern professional life without compromising one’s commitment to God. The discussions reflected the IYWD’s vision of raising a generation of Christ-centered professionals who faithfully represent Christ both inside and outside the Church.

Drawing from biblical principles of faithful endurance, Bishop Samuel challenged young professionals and young adults to remain steadfast in their spiritual journey and faithfully fulfill God’s calling.

“Takbuhin natin ang takbuhin ng pananampalataya dahil iyan lang ang kikilalanin ng Diyos sa ating mga buhay. Sabihin natin sa Panginoon, ‘Ako’y papagamit Sa’yo. Saan man ako tinawag, Ikaw ay maluluwalhati sa aking buhay.'”

His message encouraged attendees to become willing instruments of God wherever they are called whether in the workplace, business, school, ministry, or community and to live lives that continually glorify Him.

Malagasang Locale Recognized for Pioneering Young Professionals Ministry

One of the most memorable moments of the closing service was the Presentation of the Plaque of Recognition to the Malagasang Young Professionals and Young Adults, honoring the locale as the first local church in the PMCC (4th Watch) to formally establish a Young Professionals Department.

The recognition acknowledged the congregation’s pioneering efforts in creating a ministry specifically dedicated to addressing the spiritual and practical needs of young professionals.

Church leaders described the achievement as a historic milestone not only for the Malagasang Locale but also for the entire Church. They expressed hope that other local churches would be inspired to establish similar ministries that encourage evangelism, discipleship, leadership development, and faithful church service among young professionals.
