First Joint Young Professionals Fellowship gathered Young Professionals from the Marikina Special District (MSD), Eastern Manila District (EMD), Eastern Rizal District (ERD), Western Rizal District (WRD), and Greater Rizal District (GRD) on June 20, 2026, at the Marikina Special District Main Hall. The joyous and spirit-filled gathering strengthened the faith of the participants, fostered meaningful friendships, and encouraged every young professional to remain steadfast in serving God while faithfully fulfilling their responsibilities in the workplace.
MARIKINA CITY, PHILIPPINES — The event was led by Pastor Benjamin Sico, MSD Young Professionals Adviser, together with the dedicated MSD Young Professionals officers.
The fellowship officially began with a vibrant Praise and Worship led by Sister Shey Rebellon together with the MSD Young Professionals Praise and Worship Team. Through heartfelt songs of praise and adoration, everyone was ushered into God’s presence, setting a joyful and reverent atmosphere for the entire program.
This was followed by the opening prayer led by Brother Vincent Belmonte, who committed the fellowship into the hands of the Lord and prayed for every participant and the success of the whole event. Afterward, the welcome and announcements were delivered by the MSD – Young Professionals President, Elder Sheena Mejarito, who warmly greeted everyone and shared important reminders for the day’s activities. The program was gracefully hosted by Elder Raych Pastor and Elder Kath Geromo, whose enthusiasm and warm interaction kept the fellowship engaging and inspiring from beginning to end.
One of the most anticipated highlights of the fellowship was the inspiring Couch Talk, where three Young Professionals shared their heartfelt testimonies of faith. They spoke about the challenges and victories of balancing their careers while remaining steadfast in serving the Lord. Their personal experiences reminded everyone that regardless of the demands of work and daily responsibilities, it is always possible to remain faithful, committed, and passionate in serving God. Their stories became a source of encouragement, inspiring fellow young professionals to shine as followers of Christ both in their workplaces and in the ministry.
Before the preaching of God’s Word, the Eastern Manila District (EMD) Young Professionals rendered a beautiful Song of Praise, lifting every heart in worship and preparing the congregation to receive the message. Their inspiring musical offering added a special touch to the fellowship and reminded everyone that every talent can be used to glorify the Lord.
The gathering was further enriched by the powerful preaching of the Word of God delivered by our beloved Bishop Samuel S. Ferriol. Through his timely and inspiring message, he emphasized the calling of every Young Professional to become faithful and effective servants of the Lord not only inside the Church but also in their respective workplaces. He encouraged everyone to live with integrity, pursue excellence, remain steadfast in faith, and become shining examples of Christ wherever God has placed them.
Adding to the joyful atmosphere, the Young Professionals enthusiastically performed a dance craze in promotion of the Home Free Global Crusade (HFGC) – Rizal, showcasing their unity, energy, and passion for evangelism. Laughter and fellowship continued over a delightful lunch, where everyone enjoyed delicious “kakanin”, shared meaningful conversations, captured memorable moments at the photo booth in the venue lobby, and celebrated the occasion dressed in beautiful shades of blue, symbolizing harmony, peace, and unity among the participating districts.
Indeed, the First Joint Young Professionals Fellowship was a blessed and unforgettable gathering that strengthened friendships, deepened faith, and inspired every one to continue serving God wholeheartedly in every aspect of life.
More than just a fellowship, it became a beautiful reminder that when God’s people come together with one purpose to honor and glorify Him lives are encouraged, hearts are renewed, and faith is strengthened. As everyone returned to their respective districts and workplaces, they carried with them renewed passion, fresh inspiration, and a greater commitment to become faithful witnesses of Christ wherever they may be.
To God be all the glory!
