Apostolic Visitation 2026 Davao: Powerful Victory in Holiness

STA. LUCIA, Davao City — The Apostolic Visitation 2026 Davao strengthened the faith of thousands of brethren, ministers, elders, and guests as Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, Chief Executive Minister (CEM), delivered a powerful message on victory through holiness, consecration, courage, and heavenly investment on Sunday, September 5.

Held at the Sta. Lucia Mall Convention Center, the gathering brought together brethren from different areas of the Davao District for a meaningful time of fellowship, worship, and spiritual encouragement. The atmosphere was marked by unity and harmony as the congregation received biblical truths and renewed their commitment to God.

“Tayo mga kapatid ay maraming hinaharap na laban subalit purihin ang Panginoon mas malaki ang mga tagumpay,” Apostle Jonathan declared, reminding the congregation that God’s people can remain victorious despite the challenges and difficulties of life.

In his message, the Apostle presented four vital foundations of a victorious Christian life: regeneration, consecration, courage, and heavenly investment.

Victory Begins With Regeneration

Apostle Jonathan began by emphasizing the importance of being born again as the foundation of a victorious Christian life.

Referring to Christ’s promise that “even the gates of Hades shall not prevail” against the Church, he affirmed that the Church remains steadfast despite trials, opposition, and difficulties.

The Apostle also recalled the humble beginnings of the PMCC (4th Watch), saying, “53 years ago, the PMCC 4th Watch started from nothing and had grown into a recognized global denomination… we are in 80 plus countries in the world.”

He then emphasized that true spiritual victory begins with regeneration.

“Regeneration is being born again… Hindi ka papasok sa langit maliban na ikaw ay ipanganak na mag uli,” he explained, emphasizing the biblical teaching on the necessity of being born again.

Apostle Jonathan also shared his personal testimony, recalling, “When I was 11 years old, I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior.”

According to the Apostle, being born again allows believers to receive the seed of God. Citing John 1:12–13, he explained that those who receive Christ are given the privilege of becoming children of God.

“When you are born again you will receive the seed of God,” he said.

He connected this truth to 1 John 5:4, declaring, “Once you become a child of God, you will start overcoming, winning, triumphing, and victorious.”

The Apostle further reminded the congregation of the victory believers have through Jesus Christ.

“Isa lamang ang namatay at nabuhay na mag-uli para sa’yo, walang iba kundi ang Panginoong Jesus. Matatalo mo, matatakasan mo lahat ng gawa ng diablo,” he declared.

Referencing 1 John 4:4, he reminded the brethren, “Greater is He who is in you than He who is in the world.”

He also encouraged the congregation to look beyond temporary earthly circumstances and value eternal life with God.

“Kahit tayo ay mamatay sa hirap o sa sakit, sa langit ay may buhay na walang hanggan,” he said.

Victory Belongs to the Consecrated

The second foundation highlighted during the Apostolic Visitation 2026 Davao was consecration.

Drawing from Joshua 3:5, Apostle Jonathan explained that consecration involves turning away from what is wrong and intentionally walking toward what is right.

“What is consecration? Walking away from what is wrong and walking towards what is right,” he explained.

He emphasized that consecration requires a transformation that involves the entire person.

“There is a shift of your whole being — your mind, your heart, everything… towards consecration. For God will do amazing things! Amazing things will happen to you,” the Apostle said.

However, he stressed that spiritual victory requires a heart that remains committed to God.

“But there is a condition,” he emphasized. “Hanggang ang puso mo ay sa Diyos, ipapagtagumpay ka ng Diyos.”

Apostle Jonathan reminded the congregation that no one has ever defeated God and encouraged them to live their lives with Him.

“Life is better lived with God,” he declared.

Victory Requires Courage

Apostle Jonathan then challenged the brethren to reject fear and stand courageously in their faith.

“Do not expect victory if you are afraid, fearful, frightened, you have to be brave, you have to be strong. The bigger the battle, the more courageous you must be,” he exhorted.

He reminded the congregation that believers do not face life’s battles alone.

“Do not be afraid because God is with you… if God is for you, who can be against you? Ano man ang hirap ng laban ng buhay, mapagtatagumpayan niyo ‘yan,” he declared.

The Apostle also encouraged the brethren to remain unashamed of their identity in Christ and to boldly demonstrate their loyalty to God.

“Never be afraid to pledge your allegiance, your loyalty to God. Do not be afraid to be identified with Christ. Lose your fear, lose your hesitation. God is with you! Believe God is with you,” he urged.

His message also extended to young people and parents, particularly those considering the Apostolic Missionary Program (AMP).

“For my dearest young people, step out in the new adventure of the Apostolic Missionary Program. Parents, huwag kayong matakot. Do not be afraid to change course, to shift!” he encouraged.

Sharing an example from his own family, Apostle Jonathan noted that people can leave established professional paths to pursue God’s calling.

“We have many young people who used to be professionals, my wife used to be a banker. Do not be afraid to take a big step for God… You have no tomorrow where God is not there,” he said.

Victory Comes Through Heavenly Investment

The final foundation of victory centered on investing in things that have eternal value.

Expounding on the Filipino word “mamuhunan,” Apostle Jonathan contrasted earthly investments with the heavenly investment taught by Jesus Christ.

“Maraming Pilipino ang naghihirap sa investment scams… There is an investment that you will not be fooled, it is the heavenly investment,” he explained, referring to Matthew 6:20.

He then challenged the congregation to consider what they should invest in for the work of God.

“What is it you’re going to invest? Time,” he said.

The Apostle encouraged the brethren to dedicate their time, talent, and treasure to God and His work. Unlike temporary earthly investments, heavenly investment carries eternal value and produces lasting spiritual rewards.

A Renewed Commitment to Holiness

The Apostolic Visitation 2026 Davao concluded with the brethren encouraged and strengthened to face life’s challenges with renewed faith.

Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol’s message reminded the Davao District that victory is available to those who remain rooted in Christ, pursue consecration, reject fear, and invest their lives in eternal things.

The gathering emphasized that genuine Christian victory is not measured merely by worldly success or the absence of difficulties. Rather, victory is demonstrated through a life transformed by Christ, dedicated to God, strengthened by courage, and invested in eternal things.

As the visitation concluded, the congregation carried with them a renewed commitment to live faithfully and pursue holiness in every aspect of life.

God’s people may face many battles, but through Christ, they can remain victorious—not by human strength, but through a life surrendered to God.
