Intercession Is Great Preparation: 3 Districts Unite Ahead of HFGC Auckland

AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND — The HFGC Auckland Prayer Fellowship brought together ministers, church officers, and members from the New Zealand, Fiji, and Australia Districts on October 17, 2026, in preparation for the upcoming Home Free Global Crusade. United in faith and purpose, the brethren came together to seek God’s guidance, protection, and blessings for the upcoming evangelistic gathering, emphasizing that earnest prayer is essential in preparing for a spiritual harvest.

The prayer fellowship served as a dedicated time of corporate intercession, during which the participating districts entrusted the preparations, program, and overall mission of the crusade into God’s hands. Through earnest prayers and heartfelt petitions, the gathering fostered an atmosphere of reverence, unity, and spiritual expectation as the church prepared to welcome people from Auckland and its surrounding communities.

A central focus of the intercession was the divine protection, physical strength, and anointing of Global Evangelist Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol. The brethren prayed that God would continually strengthen him as he proclaimed the Gospel and delivered the message of salvation during the crusade. They also sought the guidance and empowerment of the Holy Spirit, praying that the Word of God would reach the hearts of those in attendance, break spiritual strongholds, and bring conviction, transformation, and lasting renewal.

Beyond praying for the main speaker, the brethren also lifted up the visiting church leaders, local pastors, ministers, and organizing committees who would take part in the Home Free Global Crusade. Their petitions included prayers for wisdom, strength, coordination, and guidance throughout the preparations and implementation of the event.

The gathering also placed special emphasis on the people who would attend the crusade. With hearts burdened for the lost and compassion for those in need of God’s grace, the brethren prayed for individuals searching for hope, purpose, peace, and spiritual freedom throughout Auckland and its surrounding communities.

They earnestly sought God’s intervention in the lives of those who would hear the Gospel, praying that the crusade would become an opportunity for people to experience the saving, healing, and delivering power of Jesus Christ. Their intercession reflected the very message of the HFGC tour: that through Christ, lives can be restored, burdens can be lifted, and people can find new hope through the Gospel.

United in Prayer, Committed to the Mission

The Prayer Fellowship highlighted the spiritual unity of the New Zealand, Fiji, and Australia Districts. Despite the geographical distances separating their congregations, the brethren demonstrated their shared commitment to the mission of the church by coming together in one accord for the Auckland crusade.

Their collective participation reflected the importance of unity in fulfilling the work of evangelism. By standing together in prayer, the three districts affirmed that the responsibility of reaching souls extends beyond individual congregations and local territories. Rather, it is a shared mission that calls every believer to contribute through faith, commitment, and service.

The gathering also fostered a renewed sense of personal commitment and spiritual responsibility among ministers, officers, and members. Beyond intercession, the brethren dedicated themselves to active participation in the preparations through personal evangelism, soul-winning efforts, invitation distribution, and logistical assistance.

From frontline workers and production teams to those serving through prayer and behind-the-scenes support, every contribution was recognized as an important part of the collective effort. The gathering reinforced the importance of cooperation, spiritual readiness, and unity as the districts worked toward the common goal of bringing more people to Christ.

New Zealand, Fiji, and Australia Districts Prepare for a Spiritual Harvest

The October 17 Prayer Fellowship marked a meaningful milestone in the spiritual preparations for the Home Free Global Crusade: Saved. Healed. Delivered. Tour — Auckland Leg. Through united intercession, the brethren demonstrated their determination to place the upcoming evangelistic mission before God and seek His guidance in every aspect of the undertaking.

More than a preparatory gathering, the fellowship served as a reminder that the work of evangelism must be accompanied by sincere prayer, wholehearted dedication, and unity among believers. It renewed the participants’ commitment to reach people with the Gospel and support the mission of the church through their respective roles.

As the New Zealand, Fiji, and Australia Districts moved forward in preparation for the Auckland crusade, they carried with them a shared conviction: prayer is a vital foundation for fruitful ministry, and every effort to reach souls must be entrusted to God.

With hearts united in faith and a renewed burden for the lost, the brethren looked ahead with confidence, trusting that God would guide the preparations and work in the lives of those who would encounter the message of salvation.

To God alone be the glory!
