Imus, Cavite – The Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ 4th Watch (PMCC 4th Watch) ushered in a new season of faith, growth, and commitment with the opening night of its 35th International Convention and Missionary Day on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Held at the AATF Sports Complex in Malagasang, Imus, Cavite, the event was a joyous gathering of global and national delegates, church leaders, and brethren united by a shared mission to fulfill the Apostolic Vision for Church Expansion.
This year’s theme, “Fulfilling the Apostolic Vision for Church Expansion,” rooted in the scripture from 1 Corinthians 3:6-9, emphasized the collective efforts needed to plant, nurture, and grow God’s nation as we await His imminent return. Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, Chief Executive Minister of PMCC 4th Watch, delivered a powerful message on the importance of nurturing spiritual growth and expanding the reach of the church’s mission across the globe.
A special moment of reverence highlighted the celebration as the PMCC 4th Watch honored the late Goodman of the House, Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol, for his visionary leadership and pivotal role in establishing the church’s national and global presence. The night also marked the birthday of Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol and Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, who reflected on his father’s enduring legacy and the continued journey of faith that he now leads.
Apostle Jonathan Ferriol declared 2025 as a year of nurturing growth and expansion for the Church. He underscored the importance of coming together as one body to advance the mission, pointing to the first leg of the Home Free: Rebirth in Christ Tour, which will take place on January 19, 2025, at the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta, Manila. This event will mark a significant milestone in the Church’s nationwide and global evangelism efforts amidst the ongoing commitment to spreading the Gospel to all peoples and nations.
The opening night saw hundreds of delegates and local members in attendance, with thousands more joining the event via livestream. The atmosphere was filled with unity, excitement, and a renewed sense of purpose as attendees gathered to celebrate, worship, and reaffirm their commitment and dedication to God’s mission.
The celebration featured soul-stirring musical performances, heartfelt prayers, and an impactful sermon from Apostle Jonathan Ferriol, who emphasized the importance of collective action in advancing God’s work on earth. He reminded the congregation that just as the Apostle Paul planted and Apollos watered, the PMCC 4th Watch, as Christ’s body, must work together in unity, also echoing one of the last reminders of the late Goodman of the House.
As the evening concluded, the attendees were filled with anticipation for the year ahead, ready to rise to the challenges of growth, expansion, and spiritual revival. The 35th International Convention and Missionary Day will continue throughout the week with workshops, fellowship, and more opportunities to strengthen the Church’s global network of believers.
The PMCC 4th Watch, both on-site and online, is united in its resolve to fulfill God’s call to continue reaching regions beyond, bringing the message of hope and salvation to every corner of the earth.
