Hundreds Gather at PMCC 4th Watch Headquarters for Three Days of Hands-On Training, Inspiration, and Spiritual Growth
Marikina City, Philippines — The Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch), through its vibrant media ministry arm, 4th Watch Media, successfully launched the much-anticipated 4th Watch Media Festival 2025 from June 12 to 14 at the Church’s international headquarters in Marikina City.
With the theme “Your Creativity, for His Glory,” the three-day festival became a historic gathering of hundreds of dedicated media missionaries from across the country. The event offered a unique blend of hands-on training, professional seminars, and spiritual renewal sessions designed to equip, educate, and empower media workers in the Church. At its core, the festival highlighted the vital role of creativity in advancing the gospel message through modern digital platforms.
A Festival of Learning and Faith
Unlike ordinary conferences, the 4th Watch Media Festival 2025 was carefully structured to provide participants with both technical mastery and spiritual grounding. Organizers emphasized that while media skills are essential, the conviction behind their use is what sets 4th Watch Media apart. To maximize learning, attendees were divided into three specialized tracks according to their interests and ministries:
Track A: “Storysmith” – focused on research, content development, and writing for television and radio.
Track B: “The Visionaries” – featured directing, cinematography, and hosting.
Track C: “Creator’s Lens” – centered on photography, graphic design, and mobile journalism.
Each track was designed not only to sharpen technical skills but also to encourage participants to view media work as a sacred calling, aligning creativity with the mission of proclaiming Christ’s message.
Inspiring Voices and Valuable Lessons
The festival also showcased an impressive lineup of speakers and mentors, combining respected figures from mainstream media and seasoned leaders from within the Church’s own ministry.
On the first day, sessions were led by Paulo Joseph Sico, Sheila Maluping, Menchie Silvestre, Audrey Gorriceta, Christian Rubonal, and Joey Ramos, who tackled the fundamentals of storytelling and media production.
The second day featured equally dynamic talks from Maria Oliva, Gabby Gonzales, Marjay Bartolay, Hosana Enriquez, Frechie Reyes, Kathleen Faye Sone, and returning lecturer Paulo Sico, who provided advanced insights into content creation and team management.
The final day closed with impactful lessons from Bryan Brazil, Joselito Tan, Marco Ramos, and renowned journalist Mariz Umali of GMA News. Their sessions highlighted the growing importance of responsible media in shaping narratives that inspire hope, faith, and truth.
Beyond Technical Training
While the festival provided practical instruction on scriptwriting, leadership, production techniques, and visual storytelling, it also served as a much-needed spiritual retreat for many participants. Workshops and talks were infused with biblical principles, reminding attendees that their role as media missionaries goes beyond creativity—it is about serving God with excellence and conviction.
The atmosphere of fellowship throughout the three days created opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and networking among fellow 4th Watch media workers. Many participants expressed that the festival not only sharpened their technical skills but also rekindled their passion for digital evangelism, encouraging them to approach their craft with renewed purpose.
A Powerful Closing Message
The highlight of the festival came on the final day, when Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, Executive Minister of PMCC (4th Watch), delivered a stirring closing message. In his address, Apostle Ferriol reminded the participants of the sacred weight of their ministry.
“Media is not just a tool—it is a calling,” he declared, urging everyone to use their God-given talents responsibly and faithfully in spreading the gospel. His words left a lasting impression, affirming the divine nature of their work and reinforcing their commitment to serve with both creativity and conviction.
A Testament of Commitment
As the PMCC (4th Watch) continues to expand globally, the success of the 4th Watch Media Festival 2025 stands as a testament to the Church’s unwavering dedication to nurturing talents and harnessing every available medium for evangelism.
By uniting training with spiritual empowerment, the festival has set a new benchmark for how faith-based organizations can engage in media ministry. For hundreds of participants, it was more than an event—it was a life-changing experience that strengthened their skills, deepened their faith, and renewed their passion for proclaiming Christ in the digital age.
