Church-wide event unites believers worldwide for revival, renewal, and apostolic mission

MANILA, PHILIPPINES (August 11, 2025) – The Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) officially kicked off its annual 4th Watchers Month 2025 with the highly anticipated Spiritual Empowerment Week, held from August 4 to 8. This global initiative brought together congregations from the Philippines, North America, Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region in a unified pursuit of spiritual renewal, deeper discipleship, and preparation for a worldwide revival.

More than a commemorative observance, the week-long event served as a focused period of spiritual equipping and empowerment for all members—known as “4th Watchers”—as the Church enters its Season of Expansion and Revival. Through coordinated live broadcasts and teachings across international time zones, PMCC (4th Watch) leaders imparted apostolic insights aimed at strengthening faith and mobilizing mission.

Apostolic Themes

Each day of Spiritual Empowerment Week centered around a specific apostolic role essential to the church’s mission:

  • Apostolic Soul Winners
Bishop Aldrin Palanca called members to reignite their passion for evangelism:
“A soul winner makes every moment the right one,” he said, urging 4th Watchers to “capture the Apostle’s vision with your heart, and run with it with all your strength.”

  • Apostolic Brother’s Keepers
Bishop Samuel Ferriol emphasized the importance of unity and mutual care within the church:
“Ang Panginoon ay nananawagan… tayo ay maging tagapangalaga o bantay ng ating kapatid” (The Lord calls us to be keepers of our brethren), he declared, stressing that this role must be grounded in genuine love (pag-ibig).

  • Apostolic Prayer Warriors
Evangelist Leticia S. Ferriol urged members to embrace a life of fervent, dedicated prayer—particularly as the church advances into its expansion season.

  • Apostolic Partners
Bishop Reynald Sulayao elevated the idea of partnership as a spiritual calling:
“Rooted in vision, empowerment, and faithfulness—faithful first to God, and then to His sent ones,” he said, encouraging believers to become unwavering allies in the apostolic work.

Revival Rooted in Godliness

The Spiritual Empowerment Week culminated with a powerful message from Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, Chief Executive Minister of the PMCC (4th Watch), titled “The Revival of Godliness and Uprightness.”

In his address, Apostle Ferriol redefined revival not as emotionalism or hype, but as a return to holiness and righteousness:

“This revival is… holiness and righteousness! Being right with God and right with His people. Genuine uprightness will unleash an incredible force in God’s work!”
“In revival, God takes His rightful place. Everything surrendered to Christ, submitted to Christ, centered on Christ. Sa revival, Dios lang ang madadakila, Dios lamang ang maitataas!”
(In revival, only God is glorified, only God is exalted!)

He emphasized that this revival will forge a stronger, Christ-centered relationship among believers and prepare the Church for even greater works on a global scale.

Reports from local churches and international districts reflect a resounding sense of empowerment, unity, and renewed purpose. The week’s teachings—on soul-winning, brotherly care, prayer, partnership, and godly living—have laid a solid foundation for the months ahead.

As 4th Watchers Month 2025 continues, the PMCC (4th Watch) moves forward emboldened and unified in its apostolic mandate. With a clear call to live uprightly before God and man, the Church is poised to unleash a movement of genuine revival that impacts communities locally and nations globally.
