The historic Home Free Global Crusade 15: Christ the Peacemaker Tour Japan at the TFT Building in Tokyo Big Sight, led by Global Evangelist Jonathan S. Ferriol, cut across linguistic barriers to deliver a compelling and timeless message of God’s invitation to peace and salvation. Among a diverse crowd God’s words resonated deeply to over 1,400 onsite attendees resulting in 418 professions of faith and 164 baptisms, marking a pivotal moment in the spiritual landscape of Japan.

Breaking new background in communication, the crusade made history by providing Japanese interpretation through Bro. Daichi Mori, bridging the gap between cultures and languages.

This innovative approach ensured that Bishop Jonathan S. Ferriol’s message of God’s invitation to peace was accessible to all, regardless of linguistic background. Highlighting the fact that Japan, like other countries, is often hailed as a global leader in technology, innovation, and culture, but that underlying its successful exterior lies a sobering reality. Japan suffers from unseen hardships, unspoken pains, and a culture weighed down by expectations and conformity despite its apparent success. Beneath the dazzling skyscrapers and busy streets is a country in sorrow, its people desperate for comfort in the middle of modernity’s disarray, their collective spirit injured. Japan is a nation in bandages, and the only place we may find true peace is in God, who alone can deliver us from the burdens of academic performance and the plague of loneliness and isolation. The very goal of this crusade of making Jesus known and His aspiration to give peace and salvation happened in Japan.

The South Bay Praise and Worship Team led gathering in a jubilant and on-fire singing of praises, and the timeless melodies of Pastor Sammy Bagcat swept through hearts of believers and guests alike. The crowd was uplifted and prepared for a moment of spiritual awakening. Furthermore, the hall came alive with exquisite dance performances by the Saved by Grace and the Japan Praise in Motion, who enthralled the crowd with their dynamic motions.

The churches of Japan, under the leadership of Presbyter Maya Cruz, seized the opportunity of the Golden Week Holiday Celebration in securing that their invitations to individuals across the country, both locals and foreigners will be positively responded. The cumulative efforts, prayers, and fasting of all the members of Japan district, together with the hard works of the local pastors and church officers and with God’s divine providence brought success to this crusade. God’s goodness and mighty acts, as well as the success of the crusade, filled everyone’s hearts with unparalleled joy and appreciation.
