TOKYO, JAPAN — A mighty spiritual awakening swept across the Land of the Rising Sun as the Home Free Global Crusade 2025: Rebirth in Christ Tour made its eighth global stop in Tokyo. Hosted by the PMCC (4th Watch) at BelleSalle Hall in Takadanobaba, this landmark event marked a historic milestone for evangelism in Japan, drawing more than 33,000 in-person attendees and thousands more online.

What began with fervent, unified prayer culminated in a powerful move of God—demonstrating once more that the message of Christ transcends all borders, cultures, and languages.

Spiritual Hunger Builds Ahead of Tokyo Crusade

Long before Global Evangelist Jonathan S. Ferriol and the HFGC team arrived in Japan, thousands of believers around the world gathered in online prayer meetings. These intercessions laid a spiritual foundation for revival—opening the hearts of many in Japan to the transforming power of the Gospel.

Thousands Gather in Worship and Unity

On crusade day, BelleSalle Hall overflowed with expectancy as believers from across Japan and beyond came together in worship. The atmosphere was filled with joy and reverence as music ministry groups—The Katinas, HFGC Praise and Worship Team, Pastor Sammy Bagcat, Saved by Grace, and Japan Praise in Motion—led the crowd into powerful moments of praise.

In a creative expression of local culture, an original anime-inspired soundtrack based on Isaiah 41:10 was performed—fusing art and faith to connect deeply with the Japanese audience.

Global Evangelist Jonathan S. Ferriol Delivers a Message of “Heavenly Renewal”

At the heart of the crusade was the anointed preaching of Global Evangelist Jonathan S. Ferriol, who delivered a soul-stirring sermon titled “Heavenly Renewal.”

“Jesus’ resurrection proved that death has been defeated. Resurrection is the ultimate renewal!”
— Global Evangelist Jonathan S. Ferriol

Describing Christ’s resurrection as “a heavenly gambit to win against Satan,” Global Evangelist Jonathan S. Ferriol extended a passionate invitation to salvation:

“If you receive Jesus, if you accept Him as your Savior, your days of spiritual captivity end today!”

Thanks to the gifted translation of Brother Daichi Mori, the Gospel message transcended language barriers and touched hearts throughout the packed venue. The response was immediate and overwhelming as thousands stepped forward during the altar call.
