The Maranatha Bible School International (MBSI) triumphantly marked its 50th Anniversary in 2025, celebrating five decades of unwavering commitment to its apostolic mission. As the official ministerial training arm of the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch), MBSI has been instrumental in shaping countless ministers who now serve around the world.

Founded by the late Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol, the MBSI Foundation was laid with a clear vision: to raise up faithful, Spirit-filled leaders for the end-time Church. From its humble beginnings with just ten students, MBSI has grown into a global institution with five international extensions—North America, Europe, the Middle East, Japan, and the main campus in the Philippines. Under the dynamic leadership of Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, MBSI continues to expand its global reach and spiritual impact.

MBSI Global Conference Unites Worldwide Extensions

The celebration of the MBSI 50th Anniversary officially began with the first-ever MBSI Global Conference, hosted at the PMCC (4th Watch) Marikina Main Church. For four powerful days, students, faculty, and delegates from MBSI’s global campuses came together in worship, training, and fellowship.

In his keynote message, Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol encouraged attendees to embrace their divine calling as apostolic torchbearers and challenged them to “ask for the hard things” in their service to God. The conference served not only as a spiritual summit but also as a reminder of the shared mission that unites MBSI students across continents.

MBSI Outreach Program: Extending Christ’s Compassion

As part of its anniversary celebration, MBSI launched a simultaneous MBSI Outreach Program aimed at giving back to the community. Students from both the Philippine campus and global extensions visited Manila Boys’ Town and Luwalhati ng Maynila Home for the Aged, bringing gifts, songs, prayers, and heartfelt fellowship.

These acts of service embodied the spirit of Christ and reflected MBSI’s holistic approach to ministry—preparing students not only to preach but also to serve with compassion and humility. The outreach brought immense joy to the beneficiaries and created lasting bonds between students and the communities they reached.

Baccalaureate and Thanksgiving Service of the Graduating Batch

On June 1, 2025, the graduating class known as the Apostolic Visionaries of Christ in the End-Time began their final chapter at MBSI with the Baccalaureate and Thanksgiving Service held during the Marikina Special District worship.

Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol delivered a stirring message titled “Shine Bright,” calling on the graduates to be a light to the world by faithfully carrying out their apostolic calling. This event emphasized the deep spiritual foundation and commitment expected of every MBSI graduate as they transition into full-time ministry.

Recognition Service: Honoring Faith and Dedication

Later that evening, the Recognition Service honored the academic and ministerial achievements of the graduating class. Students were commended for their faithfulness, perseverance, and commitment to the Church’s global mission and church-planting efforts.

The celebration was filled with gratitude, not only for the accomplishments of the graduates but also for the faithfulness of God throughout their journey at MBSI.

46th Commencement Exercises of Apostolic Visionaries of Christ in the End-Time

The grand highlight of the MBSI 50th Anniversary was the 46th Commencement Exercises of Apostolic Visionaries of Christ in the End-Time, held on June 7, 2025, at the AATF Sports Complex in Imus, Cavite.

Graduates were officially conferred as ministers of the PMCC (4th Watch) and commissioned to uphold the apostolic legacy with integrity and boldness. The ceremony featured powerful messages from selected students, including Brother Paul Joseph Sico, Sister Angelica Artatez, Sister Queen Abigail Santos, Sister Jasmin Tacbad, Brother Paul Matthew Maunahan, and Sister Hazel Ramos.

Their messages reflected the training, values, and anointing they received throughout their time at MBSI—testifying to the enduring impact of the school’s mission and the vision of its founders.

A Legacy that Lives On

The MBSI 50th Anniversary is more than a celebration—it is a reaffirmation of the school’s apostolic foundation, global mission, and unwavering faith in God’s plan for the Church. From the historic MBSI Global Conference to the meaningful MBSI Outreach Program, and culminating in the 46th Commencement Exercises of Apostolic Visionaries of Christ in the End-Time, the anniversary stood as a powerful reminder of God’s faithfulness to His end-time Church.

As MBSI steps into its next 50 years, it remains committed to producing leaders who will courageously proclaim the gospel, plant churches, and continue the apostolic legacy throughout the world.
