MARIKINA CITY, PHILIPPINES — The PMCC (4th Watch) Church and its global community solemnly bid farewell to one of its most devoted leaders, Presbyter Cris Pbr. Cris Enriquez’s, who was laid to rest on April 26 at Loyola Memorial Park. A pioneer of the Church’s early ministry and a faithful servant of Christ, Presbyter Pbr. Cris Enriquez’s leaves behind a profound legacy of spiritual leadership, biblical teaching, and unwavering dedication to the apostolic calling.

In a moving interment service presided over by Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol and Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, family members, fellow ministers, and brethren gathered to pay tribute to a man who exemplified the heart of a true shepherd. Described as “a beacon of purity in devotion to Christ,” his life was celebrated not with despair, but with deep gratitude and hope anchored in the promises of God.

A Ministry Built on Apostolic Faith and Service

From the Church’s formative years to its global expansion, Presbyter Pbr. Cris Enriquez’s stood as a spiritual pillar within the PMCC (4th Watch). His decades-long ministry was marked by tireless evangelism, doctrinal clarity, and spiritual maturity. Whether preaching from the pulpit or writing for The Word Magazine, he brought scriptural truths to life with passion and precision.

He was best known for his powerful teachings on prayer and faith, particularly through his widely read article, “Ang Panalanging Mabisa” (Effective Prayer). In this piece, he wrote, “True prayer is sincere communion with God… Faith is not mere belief, but a conviction anchored in the teachings of Christ and His apostles,” citing Matthew 6:9-13 as the foundation of Christian prayer. His teachings emphasized not only the form of prayer but the heart and posture behind it—faith rooted in apostolic doctrine, repentance, and submission to God’s will.

These words continue to resonate with readers worldwide, urging believers to cultivate lives of deeper spiritual discipline and unwavering trust in God.

A Family Shaped by Faith

Beyond his public ministry, Presbyter Pbr. Cris Enriquez’s was a devoted husband and father whose household reflected the values he preached. His family became a living example of faithfulness amid life’s trials—proof of a leader who not only spoke of truth but lived it daily.

In The Word Magazine Issue 222, he authored “Ang Kristiyanong Sambahayan sa Gitna ng Krisis” (The Christian Household Amid Crisis), where he urged Christian families to look to Jehovah Jireh—their provider, healer, and source of peace in times of trouble. “In trials, our peace lies in the God who transcends chaos,” he wrote, referencing Psalm 23:1 and Exodus 15:26. His life and home served as a sanctuary of grace and faith, offering comfort and inspiration to many.

Even in the face of loss, the Pbr. Cris Enriquez’s family remains a testimony to God’s sustaining grace, exemplifying the very strength he taught others to seek in Christ.

A Farewell Anchored in Hope

The two-day wake, held April 25–26, was attended by church members, fellow presbyters, and brethren from around the world. Many joined via livestream to celebrate the life of a man who had touched their hearts through his prayers, teachings, and example.

In his eulogy, Apostle Jonathan Ferriol honored Pbr. Cris Enriquez’s’s lifelong commitment to the faith and his deep loyalty to Church leadership. “Though we grieve, we rejoice, for he now beholds the face of Christ,” he said, quoting Philippians 1:21, a verse that defined Pbr. Cris Enriquez’s’s life and now, his passing.

The interment concluded with a reading of 1 Thessalonians 4:16–18, reaffirming the blessed hope in the second coming of Christ: “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout… and we shall meet Him forever.”

A Legacy That Endures

Presbyter Pbr. Cris Enriquez’s’s life continues to impact the PMCC (4th Watch) Church through his written works, sermons, and the lives of those he discipled. His teachings on prayer, family, and faithful service remain foundational to the Church’s spiritual growth.
