Look at what God has done! The PMCC (4th Watch) of South Bay celebrated their 35th Anniversary and Thanksgiving with a truly victorious event. Brethren and guests from across Southern California gathered for a day filled with joy and celebration. This momentous event was also celebrated district wide.
The event featured special greetings from distinguished church leaders, including the pioneer herself, Evangelist Leticia S. Ferriol. Sub-Coordinators, Presbyter Erwin Dela Cruz, Pastor Even Macatol, and Pastor Neil Robeniol played significant roles in the morning’s program. Pastor Denisse Nisperos and Sis. Marija Lozada, both originally from South Bay, served as masters of ceremony for the pre-event service and divine worship.
Attendees were captivated by a choral performance from the Southern California churches. The event also saw a number of government officials from prominent South Bay cities, including Gardena Mayor Tasha Cerda, Torrance Mayor George Chen, Councilmember Jim Dear, and a representative from the Philippine Consul of Los Angeles, who offered recognitions and proclamations, highlighting South Bay’s vital role in the community.
U.S. District Coordinator Presbyter Marites Ferriol warmly welcomed everyone and introduced the evening’s special speaker. Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, a familiar face having served as Senior Pastor for 25 years, delivered a stirring message titled “The Continuity of the Church,” leading several guests to accept Jesus Christ.
The celebration continued with Sis. Michaella Agag and the sub-district coordinators presenting special awards to “South Bay Legends” for their pioneering efforts and faithful service over the past 35 years. The leadership tandem of Presbyter Marites Ferriol and Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol was also honored for their impactful guidance.
The day concluded with a special lunch fellowship held at the PMCC (4th Watch) South Bay chapel.
35 years—what a celebration for the ages!
