In an awe-inspiring display of faith and devotion, the Batangas City Sports Complex became a sanctuary of spiritual transformation as thousands gathered to embrace salvation and draw nearer to Jesus through the fearless and dynamic preaching of the word of God by Global Evangelist, Bishop Jonathan S. Ferriol. This remarkable event, a testament to God’s boundless grace, saw over 5,000 individuals filling the complex with fervent worship and a commitment to walk the path of righteousness.
The atmosphere was charged with the palpable presence of divine love as 1,033 souls made the life-altering decision to accept Jesus Christ as their savior. Symbolizing a journey towards redemption, 763 individuals also participated in the sacred act of baptism, reaffirming their faith and cleansing their spirits in the waters of rebirth.
Drawing from the prophetic words of Isaiah 1:18, Bishop Jonathan reminded the attendees of God’s promise of forgiveness and renewal: “Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” These words resonated deeply as hearts were touched, lives were transformed, and a community united in the embrace of divine grace.
The event marked the Batangas City leg of the HFGC-15 “Christ: The Peacemaker” Tour, a global evangelistic crusade initiative aimed at spreading the message of salvation and peace. The fervor of the gathering exemplified the apostolic mission of sharing God’s love and saving souls in anticipation of His imminent return.
Behind the scenes, a dedicated team of organizers, headed by Batangas District Coordinator, Presbyter Dante Abainza and District Sub-coordinator, Presbyter Domingo Larga, together with faithful brethren, elders, and pastors from the PMCC (4th Watch) Batangas District, worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the event. Their collective efforts, fueled by a shared commitment to spreading the gospel, bore fruit in the form of transformed lives and renewed spirits.
As the echoes of worship lingered in the air, gratitude flowed towards the heavens for the privilege of witnessing God’s work firsthand. The Batangas City Sports Complex stood not only as a venue for athletic pursuits but also as a sacred space where souls found solace, salvation, and a renewed sense of purpose in the embrace of divine love.
