Cavite District Begins 2026 with Powerful Apostolic Visitation and First Sunday Worship Service

Cavite District Apostolic Visitation 2026 marked a powerful beginning to the Year of Service as thousands of worshippers gathered at the PMCC (4th Watch) Cavite District Worship Hall in Malagasang, Imus City, Cavite, on January 4, 2026, for the First Sunday Worship Service and Apostolic Visitation. The special gathering brought believers together in worship, spiritual renewal, healing, and dedication as they sought God’s guidance and empowerment for the year ahead.

Cavite District Head and Coordinator Archbishop Arturo T. Ferriol and Presbyter Lily Ferriol welcomed Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol and his team, expressing gratitude for the apostolic visitation and its significance in strengthening the district’s faith and mission.

The service opened with heartfelt songs of praise and thanksgiving led by the Malagasang Praise and Worship Team. As voices filled the sanctuary with adoration, the congregation was reminded that true worship extends beyond music and encompasses a life of service and submission to God.

Worship as a Lifestyle of Service

The worship service encouraged believers to begin the year by acknowledging God’s sovereignty, faithfulness, and goodness. Scripture readings from Matthew 5:1–10 highlighted the blessings of God’s Kingdom and the character expected of faithful followers of Christ.

In his message, Apostle Jonathan emphasized that worship is more than a religious activity it is a lifestyle of obedience, holiness, and devotion to God.

Quoting Matthew 4:10, he reminded the congregation of Christ’s words:

“You must worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.”

He explained that biblical worship is expressed through daily faithfulness, humility, and wholehearted service to God.

“Worship is not just what we sing on Sunday,” Apostle Jonathan said. “It is how we serve God every day with humility, purity, and wholehearted devotion.”

He further encouraged believers to surrender every aspect of their lives to God, allowing worship to shape their homes, workplaces, ministries, and personal relationships.

Strengthened Through Apostolic Leadership

A central theme of the Apostolic Visitation was the importance of remaining faithful under apostolic leadership.

Apostle Jonathan taught that apostles are God’s appointed gifts to the Church, entrusted with guiding, teaching, and protecting believers. He encouraged members to remain steadfast in the apostolic teachings that have been faithfully preserved within the Church.

He stressed the value of apostolic tradition as a safeguard against spiritual confusion and false doctrine.

“When we stand firm in these teachings, we are protected from false doctrines and confusion,” he said.

District leaders and ministers were also introduced and recognized during the service, highlighting their dedication and sacrifices in advancing the work of God throughout Cavite and beyond.

Faithful Giving as Partnership in God’s Mission

The Apostle also underscored the importance of faithful stewardship and giving as a vital expression of partnership in the Apostolic Mission.

He explained that offerings and contributions are not merely obligations but opportunities to participate in the expansion of God’s work around the world.

“Faithful giving is our partnership in expanding the church’s work, planting new congregations, and supporting mission outreaches,” Apostle Jonathan shared.

He cited various ministry initiatives made possible through the generosity of believers, including church construction projects, mission campsites in the United States and Canada, and local evangelistic outreaches.

The message encouraged members to trust God’s provision while faithfully supporting the advancement of the Gospel.

Guarding Against Modern-Day Idolatry

Addressing contemporary spiritual challenges, Apostle Jonathan warned against modern forms of idolatry, including the excessive pursuit of wealth, power, recognition, and dependence on technology.

Drawing from Colossians 3:5, he reminded the congregation that anything placed above God can become an idol of the heart.

“Technology is a tool, not a god,” he warned.

He cautioned believers against placing their confidence in artificial intelligence, social media, or worldly achievements instead of God’s Word and prayer.

The congregation was encouraged to guard their hearts diligently and maintain God as the center of their lives and worship.

Keeping God at the Center of Life

Renewed Commitment to Service

The Apostolic Visitation concluded with a renewed call to faithful service under God’s appointed leadership.

Believers were reminded that following apostolic leadership ultimately means following God’s direction for His Church. As servants of Christ, they were encouraged to remain dedicated to ministry, steadfast in doctrine, and committed to advancing the Gospel until the Lord’s return.

More than simply marking the beginning of a new year, the gathering strengthened the district’s conviction to walk in holiness, uphold biblical truth, and pursue the Church’s mission with urgency and unity.

Looking Ahead with Purpose

As the service concluded, the Cavite District emerged renewed and aligned with the global mission of the Church.

With strengthened leadership, deeper understanding of apostolic partnership, and renewed passion for worship and service, the district is poised to continue reaching communities with the message of salvation.

The call remains clear:

Live in obedience. Serve with dedication. Proclaim the Gospel with boldness.

As 2026 unfolds, the faithful of Cavite District move forward with renewed purpose, embracing God’s call to worship, serve, and fulfill His mission.
