MBSI Baccalaureate and Thanksgiving Service 2026 Commissions a New Generation of End-Time Evangelizers

The Maranatha Bible School International (MBSI) Baccalaureate and Thanksgiving Service for the Class of 2025–2026 became a meaningful celebration of faith, dedication, and divine calling as graduates prepared to embark on a lifetime of ministry and service. More than an academic milestone, the gathering served as a sacred moment of consecration and commissioning for the next generation of End-Time Global Evangelizers of the Apostolic Gospel.

Centered on the mission of preparing spiritually equipped and doctrinally grounded servants of God, the event highlighted the vital role of biblical education in advancing the Church’s end-time mission. Graduates were reminded that their training extends beyond the classroom and into the lifelong responsibility of proclaiming Christ to a world in need of truth and salvation.

MBSI Baccalaureate and Thanksgiving Service 2026 Honors Apostolic Legacy

The solemn processional marked the beginning of the celebration as graduates entered with dignity and purpose, followed by members of the faculty, staff, and school leadership led by Bishop Samuel S. Ferriol.

The gathering was further distinguished by the presence of the Apostle’s Council and MBSI Directress Evangelist Leticia Santos Ferriol, whose dedication to biblical education has helped shape generations of ministers and church workers.

One of the most moving moments of the program was the presentation of the portrait of Chancellor Emeritus Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol. The tribute honored his enduring apostolic legacy and unwavering commitment to the Gospel, which continues to influence the institution’s vision and mission today.

Participants also reflected on the continued leadership of Chief Executive Minister Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, whose commitment to spiritual formation, ministerial excellence, and global evangelization continues to guide MBSI in fulfilling its purpose.

Worship and the Word Set the Tone for the Celebration

The program formally opened with the singing of the MBSI Hymn by Sister Jeramil Alvarez and the MBSI Pledge led by Brother Arthur Nazareth. These moments served as powerful reminders of the school’s identity, values, and mission.

Under the direction of Master of Ceremony Sister Jaira Bianca Trinidad, the congregation entered into a time of worship led by Sister Jacelle Toring. The opening prayer, offered by Sister Irish Cuminga, expressed gratitude for God’s faithfulness throughout the academic journey of the graduating class.

The reading of 2 Timothy 2:1–15 by Sister Riza Nulia established the biblical foundation for the service. The passage emphasized faithfulness, diligence, endurance, and commitment—qualities expected of every servant of God.

The graduating class also ministered through the song “Speak the Name,” declaring the power and authority found in Jesus Christ. Their presentation reflected the spiritual growth and convictions nurtured throughout their years of study and preparation.

Giving for the Advancement of God’s Mission

A message on stewardship was delivered by Sister Joselle Saulan, who spoke on the theme “Apostolic Giving and Fulfilling the End-Time Mission,” drawing from 2 Corinthians 10:16.

She emphasized that giving is more than financial support—it is active participation in God’s work of reaching souls and expanding the Gospel into places where Christ has not yet been proclaimed. Her message encouraged the congregation to view generosity as an eternal investment in the Kingdom of God.

The graduating class followed with a presentation of the song “Honest Offering,” expressing gratitude to God for His guidance, provision, and faithfulness throughout their educational journey.

MBSI Baccalaureate and Thanksgiving Service 2026 Challenges Graduates to Become Approved Workers

The highlight of the service was the meditation of the Word of God delivered by Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, who spoke on the theme “A Portrait of an Approved Worker” based on 2 Timothy 2:15.

In his message, Apostle Jonathan challenged the graduates to pursue a life of discipline, excellence, and unwavering commitment to ministry. He emphasized that biblical education must always translate into active service and meaningful participation in the mission of the Church.

One of the key principles he shared was the vision of “One Bible Student, One Church,” underscoring the importance of every student becoming actively involved in local church ministry while continuing to grow spiritually and ministerially.

The Chancellor encouraged graduates to maximize their God-given potential and approach ministry as a sacred responsibility rather than a personal pursuit. He reminded them that excellence is essential because ministry concerns eternal truths and the salvation of souls.

Drawing from his personal experiences, Apostle Jonathan reflected on the influence of Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol and Evangelist Leticia Santos Ferriol, whose teachings on divine competency, preparation, and intentional leadership helped shape his own ministry journey.

He further urged graduates to remain lifelong students of God’s Word by developing habits of diligent study, note-taking, and faithful preaching. In a culture often marked by superficiality, he emphasized the need to remain firmly grounded in biblical truth.

The message also addressed the reality of sacrifice in ministry. Graduates were encouraged to embrace righteous suffering, understanding that opposition and hardship are often part of faithfully serving Christ.

Concluding his message, Apostle Jonathan reminded the graduates of the exhortation found in 1 Timothy 4:14–16: “Do not neglect your gift.” He challenged them to steward their calling faithfully and to remain committed to God’s purpose throughout their lives.

A Thanksgiving of Gratitude and Consecration

As the service moved into the Thanksgiving Proper, the congregation united in singing “Gratitude” by Brandon Lake. The song became a collective expression of thanksgiving for God’s faithfulness throughout the academic and spiritual journey of the graduating class.

The thanksgiving offering prayer was led by Bishop Samuel S. Ferriol, who thanked God not only for academic accomplishments but also for the privilege of serving in His Kingdom.

The atmosphere of worship and gratitude reflected the heart of the entire gathering a celebration of God’s grace, faithfulness, and calling upon the lives of the graduates.

Beyond Graduation: A Commitment to Serve

As the MBSI Baccalaureate and Thanksgiving Service 2026 concluded, graduates were reminded that commencement is not the end of their journey but the beginning of a greater assignment.

Armed with biblical knowledge, spiritual formation, and apostolic training, they now move forward as ambassadors of Christ, called to preach the Gospel, disciple believers, and participate in the fulfillment of God’s end-time mission.

More than a graduation ceremony, the event served as a commissioning service sending forth a new generation of approved workers committed to rightly handling the Word of Truth and faithfully serving the Lord in every season of life and ministry.
