BACOLOD CITY, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL — Hundreds of believers from across the Negros Island Region gathered in faith, fellowship, and spiritual renewal during the Negros Island Regional Camp 2026, a multi-day gathering that highlighted God’s faithfulness and challenged attendees to deepen their commitment to Christ and His ministry.
Held at the PMCC (4th Watch) Bacolod Locale, the camp brought together ministers, workers, youth, and church members for days of worship, biblical instruction, ministry training, and fellowship. Throughout the event, participants were encouraged to pursue spiritual maturity, strengthen their walk with God, and embrace their role in advancing His work.
Negros Island Regional Camp 2026 Opens with Unity and Enthusiasm
From the opening day, an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie filled the campgrounds as delegates were grouped into four teams: the Blue Warriors, Purple Defenders, Red Fighters, and Green Conquerors.
The Opening Program showcased the creativity and teamwork of the participants through vibrant banner presentations, spirited performances, and an energetic cheerleading competition. More than friendly competition, the activities reflected the strong bond of fellowship shared among God’s people.
The Welcome Night Service followed, ushering attendees into a deeper experience of worship and thanksgiving. Through heartfelt praise and worship, believers were reminded of the blessing of gathering together as one family in Christ.
Delivering the opening message, Regional Overseer Archbishop Arturo Ferriol challenged the congregation to pursue spiritual maturity, emphasizing that genuine Christian growth is demonstrated through obedience, commitment, and faithful service to God.
Biblical Instruction Equips Every Generation
The succeeding days focused on spiritual growth and ministry development through a series of parallel seminar sessions tailored to different age groups and ministries.
Cadets, Youth, Adults, and Ministers received biblical instruction designed to address their unique responsibilities and spiritual needs. The sessions encouraged participants to deepen their faith, strengthen their commitment to God’s calling, and become more effective servants in the ministry.
These learning opportunities provided practical guidance and spiritual encouragement, reinforcing the camp’s goal of developing mature and dedicated followers of Christ.
Powerful Worship Services Inspire Spiritual Renewal
One of the camp’s most memorable moments took place during the Morning Worship Service ministered by Presbyter Lily Ferriol.
Through a powerful message, she reminded believers not to allow their lives to remain spiritually empty or be consumed by worldly distractions. Instead, she encouraged the congregation to continually seek the fullness of the Holy Spirit and remain faithful to God’s purpose.
As the Word of God was preached, many young people responded to the call of God, dedicating themselves as vessels willing to be used for His glory. For many attendees, the service became a defining moment that strengthened their desire to serve the Lord wholeheartedly.
Ministries Night Challenges Believers to Greater Commitment
The spiritual atmosphere intensified during Ministries Night as the congregation gathered once again for worship, ministry, and biblical exhortation.
Through the preaching of God’s Word, believers were challenged to move beyond spiritual complacency and pursue maturity through the gifts and empowerment of the Holy Spirit. The service emphasized God’s continuing work of preparing His people for greater responsibilities and a greater harvest in the years ahead.
Fellowship Activities Strengthen Christian Unity
Beyond the worship services and seminars, the camp provided opportunities for participants to grow in fellowship and teamwork.
Bible centered competitions such as Quiz Bee, Shower of Verses, and Preaching contests highlighted the delegates’ knowledge of Scripture and love for God’s Word. Sports events and recreational activities likewise promoted discipline, cooperation, and friendship among campers.
These activities served as meaningful reminders that Christian fellowship extends beyond worship gatherings and into every aspect of life and ministry.
Dedication Night Marks Life-Changing Decisions
As the camp neared its conclusion, worship services and devotion gatherings continued to strengthen the faith and commitment of the delegates.
The spiritual climax came during Dedication Night, where many young men and women responded to God’s call by offering their lives for ministry. Several committed themselves to pursuing ministerial training through the AMP and Maranatha Bible School International programs.
Their response reflected the continuing fulfillment of God’s work in raising laborers for His harvest field and preparing future leaders for the Church.
Grand Worship Service Concludes the Camp with Thanksgiving
The Negros Island Regional Camp 2026 concluded with a Grand Worship Service held at the Acacia Convention Hall.
Believers gathered once more in praise, worship, and thanksgiving as God’s Word was ministered to the congregation. The message reminded attendees that while outward beauty fades, the soul must continually be nourished through prayer, worship, and faithful devotion to God.
The service concluded with a moving altar call that led many to surrender their lives to Christ and renew their commitment to Him.
As delegates returned to their respective local churches, they carried with them not only cherished memories but also renewed faith, stronger convictions, and a deeper commitment to serve the Lord.
More than a regional gathering, the Negros Island Regional Camp 2026 stands as a testimony of God’s faithfulness a milestone event that strengthened believers, equipped future leaders, and prepared the Church for greater works in the years ahead.
