Nueva Ecija Prayer Fellowship Prepares Brethren for the Evangelistic Mission

CITY OF CABANATUAN, Nueva Ecija, Philippines — August 22, 2026 — Brethren from the PMCC (4th Watch) Nueva Ecija and Aurora Districts gathered in one spirit and purpose at PMCC (4th Watch) Cabanatuan for a district-wide prayer fellowship with Chief Executive Minister Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, one day before the Home Free Global Crusade (HFGC) Nueva Ecija.

Held in preparation for the crusade, the gathering provided an opportunity for brethren, church leaders, and HFGC converts from local churches across the district to worship God, seek His guidance, and surrender every aspect of the evangelistic event into His hands.

The prayer fellowship became a significant moment of spiritual preparation as the brethren entrusted the upcoming Home Free Global Crusade Nueva Ecija to God and looked forward to what He would accomplish through the proclamation of the Gospel.

Brethren Unite in Worship and Prayer

The prayer fellowship opened with a time of praise and worship led by the Cabanatuan Praise and Worship Team, guiding the congregation into a solemn atmosphere of surrender and thanksgiving.

With hands raised toward God, the brethren lifted their voices in unity, committing the upcoming crusade and its activities to the Lord.

Presbyter Dante Abainza then led the congregation in prayer, offering praise and gratitude to God for His faithfulness while seeking His guidance for the work ahead.

A meditative reading of the Holy Scriptures, led by Presbyter Jun Marbida, followed and further prepared the hearts and minds of the congregation for the message and mission before them.

The District Coordinator of the Nueva Ecija and Aurora Districts welcomed the brethren, church leaders, and Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol. In his welcome, he emphasized the importance of coming together with one purpose and in a spirit of unity and prayer as the district prepared for the Home Free Global Crusade.

Testimony Reveals Transformation Through Home Free Global Crusade

The gathering also featured a testimony from Sister Girly Villegas, who shared how the Gospel reached and transformed her life through the Home Free Global Crusade.

Sister Girly recounted attending the crusade in Luneta and described the condition of her life before receiving water baptism. She shared that she once felt alone and believed that she was not heading in the right direction.

Through the grace of God, however, she experienced a renewed direction in her life. Her faith was strengthened as she accepted God and eventually received water baptism.

Her testimony became a powerful reminder of the continuing impact of the Home Free Global Crusade, demonstrating how the Gospel can reach individuals, transform lives, and lead people toward a deeper relationship with God.

Apostle Jonathan Ferriol Delivers the Apostolic Message

Bishop Osinando Quillao introduced Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol as the keynote speaker of the gathering.

Following the time of worship, prayer, Scripture reading, and testimony, the congregation listened as Apostle Jonathan delivered an apostolic message centered on the responsibility of the Church in proclaiming the Gospel through the Home Free Global Crusade.

Apostle Jonathan Calls Brethren to Take the Gospel Seriously

Drawing from Colossians 4:2–4, Apostle Jonathan reminded the brethren that the Home Free Global Crusade Nueva Ecija is not merely an event but a serious spiritual endeavor entrusted to the Church.

He emphasized that the mission involves helping people turn away from the influence of Satan and directing them toward God, underscoring the spiritual nature of the Church’s evangelistic work.

Referencing Acts 26:18–19, he highlighted the responsibility of believers to participate in the work of bringing people from darkness to light and toward the salvation offered through Christ.

Drawing from Isaiah 61, Apostle Jonathan challenged the brethren to pursue greater victories by becoming willing to face greater battles.

He explained that the work of God may involve suffering, sacrifice, and difficulty, but greater battles can also lead to greater victories when believers remain faithful to their calling.

Apostle Jonathan also highlighted the significance of the “chains of Christ,” describing them as symbols of the sacrifices and sufferings endured for the sake of the Gospel.

He encouraged the brethren not to hesitate in fulfilling the work entrusted to them but to embrace the responsibilities and sacrifices that come with faithfully serving Christ.

The Gospel Opens Doors to Salvation

Citing Colossians 4:3, Apostle Jonathan emphasized the importance of praying for opportunities to proclaim the Gospel.

He taught that Christ is the mystery of God revealed to humanity and that the Gospel carries the power to bring salvation.

Apostle Jonathan also shared the testimony of Bro. Warsaw Del Rosario, whose life was reached and transformed through the intervention of the Church.

Referencing Revelation 12:11, he reminded the brethren of the power of the blood of the Lamb and the testimony of God’s people. He encouraged them to continue testifying about what God has done in their lives, praying for opportunities to share the Gospel, and helping lead more people toward salvation.

He further highlighted the growing opportunities provided by the online streaming of the Home Free Global Crusade, which has enabled the Gospel to reach people beyond physical venues and has contributed to the establishment of churches in connection with different crusade legs.

Because of these opportunities, Apostle Jonathan urged the brethren to remain prayerful, spiritually prepared, and ready to respond whenever God opens a door to proclaim His Word.

Prayer Prepares the Brethren for the Crusade

Following the apostolic message, the gathering continued with a corporate prayer led by the church leaders, as the brethren collectively committed the upcoming Home Free Global Crusade Nueva Ecija to God.

The prayer focused on seeking God’s guidance, protection, wisdom, and blessing for the evangelistic gathering and for everyone who would participate in it.

Bishop Osinando Quillao also led a special prayer for Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, asking God to grant him strength, wisdom, and anointing as he continues to proclaim the Gospel and lead the crusade.

The prayer fellowship concluded with the brethren spiritually strengthened and united in their purpose, ready to take part in the Home Free Global Crusade Nueva Ecija the following day.

Home Free Global Crusade Nueva Ecija Moves Forward in Faith

The district-wide prayer fellowship served as a spiritual preparation for the evangelistic mission ahead.

Through worship, prayer, Scripture, testimony, and apostolic instruction, the brethren were reminded that evangelism requires both readiness and dependence on God.

As the Home Free Global Crusade Nueva Ecija approached, the Nueva Ecija and Aurora Districts moved forward in faith, united in prayer and committed to sharing the Gospel with those who would attend and those who would join online.

The gathering reaffirmed a central conviction of the Church’s evangelistic work: every opportunity to proclaim the Gospel is an opportunity for lives to encounter the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

To God be all the glory!
