PMCC 4th Watch 53rd Anniversary: Powerful and Inspiring Celebration

IMUS, CAVITE — August 30, 2026 — More than 15,000 brethren gathered at the AATF Sports Complex in Malagasang, Imus, Cavite, on Sunday as the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) celebrated its 53rd Church Anniversary with a powerful call to preserve the characteristics that identify God’s true Church today.

The PMCC 4th Watch 53rd Anniversary brought together thousands of brethren in thanksgiving for God’s faithfulness throughout the Church’s 53-year journey while renewing their commitment to its Apostolic identity, biblical foundation, and divine calling.

Delivering the anniversary message entitled “The Characteristics of God’s True Church Today,” Chief Executive Minister Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol reminded the brethren that the anniversary was more than a commemoration of the Church’s history. It was an opportunity to reflect on its identity, responsibility, and continuing faithfulness to God’s calling.

Apostle Jonathan highlighted four essential characteristics of God’s true Church: constancy of Christ-like character, adherence to the Scriptures, fidelity in doctrines and practices, and the primacy of apostolic leadership.

He emphasized that these characteristics must not remain merely as ideals or descriptions. They must continually be preserved, developed, and manifested in the life of the Church and in the lives of its members.

On Saturday evening, Apostle Jonathan rallied the ministers to pray for the anniversary celebration, seeking God’s guidance, protection, and favor for the gathering.

The following day, thousands of brethren successfully gathered for the historic celebration, offering thanksgiving and praise to God.

The PMCC 4th Watch 53rd Anniversary was also simultaneously observed in approximately 800 local churches worldwide, with major satellite gatherings held in Baguio, Bacolod, and Davao.

These simultaneous celebrations reflected the unity of the Church as brethren from different locations gathered in one spirit to commemorate God’s faithfulness and renew their commitment to the Apostolic Mission.

Worship, Fellowship, and the Parade of the Champions

The anniversary celebration began at 7:00 a.m. with Oras ng Katotohanan with Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, followed by the anniversary worship service.

Among the major highlights was the Parade of the Champions, featuring selected ministers and brethren representing the Church’s various ministries.

The participants embodied the Apostolic spirit of unity, service, dedication, and commitment to God’s work.

The program also featured vibrant praise and worship, followed by a powerful opening prayer led by Evangelist Leticia Ferriol.

Other highlights included Scripture reading, musical presentations, an audio-visual presentation, and the offertory led by Presbyter Maritess Ferriol.

Together, these presentations created an atmosphere of thanksgiving as the Church celebrated 53 years of God’s grace and faithfulness.

Another significant highlight of the celebration was the unveiling of three new books, marking meaningful contributions to the Church’s spiritual and historical legacy.

The books introduced during the anniversary were:
