HFGC New Zealand: 3,337 Attend Powerful Crusade of Hope and Peace
NEW ZEALAND — The Home Free Global Crusade (HFGC) in New Zealand brought together thousands of attendees for a powerful gathering of worship, cultural presentations, and the Gospel message of salvation through Jesus Christ. Centered on the theme “Heaven’s Peace Offering,” the crusade proclaimed God’s offer of reconciliation and the hope of eternal life.
Known as the Land of the Long White Cloud, New Zealand became the setting for a meaningful encounter that united faith, music, and cultural heritage. Through the event, attendees were reminded that true peace and reconciliation with God are found through Jesus Christ.
HFGC New Zealand Celebrates Faith and Māori Cultural Heritage
The HFGC New Zealand gathering opened with a dynamic dance presentation by local modern dance performers, followed by the singing of the New Zealand national anthem. A vibrant musical presentation by Aotearoa then celebrated the nation’s natural beauty and cultural identity.
Honoring the country’s rich Māori heritage, Te Whānau Aio performed the haka, a traditional Māori ceremonial expression associated with strength, unity, and cultural identity. The performance added significance to the opening program, which also welcomed representatives of the New Zealand Prime Minister.
The atmosphere then shifted to worship as the HFGC Praise and Worship Team led the congregation in lifting their voices to God. Through songs of praise, attendees joined in expressing their faith and devotion.
The Saved by Grace performers, together with the New Zealand dance crew, followed with an energetic presentation that expressed faith through movement and artistic dance. Their performance added to the celebration while keeping the gathering focused on its spiritual purpose.
Singer and songwriter Yeng Constantino also delivered a special musical presentation featuring her original songs. She later joined the congregation in worship through additional songs, creating a moving moment that drew attention back to the central message of the crusade: glorifying God and proclaiming His salvation.
“Heaven’s Peace Offering”: A Message of Reconciliation Through Jesus Christ
At the heart of the crusade, Global Evangelist Jonathan S. Ferriol delivered the message titled “Heaven’s Peace Offering.” He emphasized God’s desire to reconcile humanity to Himself through Jesus Christ and encouraged attendees to respond to God’s invitation to salvation rather than turn away from Him.
“Don’t walk away from God; don’t push Him away. He wants to save you and be reconciled with you. He had already done the first act—He sent Jesus. He suffered, died and rose again. At the cross, man and God were reconciled,” he declared.
Explaining the significance of Christ’s sacrifice, he added:
“Jesus is like the feather that was put on the ground as the peace offering. Jesus Christ is our peace. He has not come to destroy us nor to ruin us, but He has come to save us.”
The message highlighted the biblical foundation of reconciliation, pointing to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as God’s provision for humanity’s salvation. Attendees were reminded that God’s offer of grace remains open and that reconciliation with Him is possible through Jesus Christ.
HFGC New Zealand Records 1,278 Decisions for Christ
The crusade recorded 3,337 in-person attendees, with 1,278 people accepting Jesus Christ and 217 individuals baptized, according to the event report. These figures reflected the attendees’ response to the Gospel message proclaimed during the gathering.
Beyond the cultural performances, music, and worship, the event emphasized the importance of receiving God’s grace and embracing the salvation offered through Jesus Christ. The reported decisions and baptisms marked significant moments in the gathering’s spiritual mission.
Through the leadership and ministry of Global Evangelist Jonathan S. Ferriol, the crusade presented the message of Christ’s peace and reconciliation to the people of New Zealand.
