While the streets of the nation resounded with cries of protest and unrest, a greater sound broke forth from the people of God in Northwestern Luzon. Joined by the beloved brethren of the Western Pangasinan District, one mighty voice rose from Baguio City Locale last September 21—a triumphant cry of thanksgiving, victory, and praise to the Living God! In the midst of societal tension and uncertainty, the Church stood as a beacon of hope, declaring that victory in Christ is not only historical but alive and active in the hearts of His people today.
The Districtwide Thanksgiving Service, held under the theme “Vibrant Victory in Christ,” was more than a ceremonial gathering—it was a spiritual eruption of gratitude and reverence. The atmosphere was charged with faith and fervor as believers from across the region assembled in unity. The theme echoed through every moment of the service, becoming a living reality as hearts overflowed in gratitude, hands were lifted in total surrender, and offerings were poured out with fearless devotion. The conviction was clear and resounding: “I will offer God nothing that costs me nothing!” This declaration, rooted in sacrifice and love, reverberated through the sanctuary, stirring a deeper commitment among the worshippers.
Then came the powerful Word, thundered with fire and anointing by Bishop Reynald Sulayao. With urgency and unshakable authority, he charged the brethren to remain steadfast, immovable, and abounding in the work of the Lord. His message was not merely a sermon—it was a divine summons. As he spoke, the atmosphere shifted. The Word pierced hearts and ignited a holy resolve. The Church, he declared, must rise—unyielding and victorious—in this Season of Revival. His exhortation was a rallying cry to every believer present: to stand firm in faith, to labor with passion, and to embrace the revival fire that God is kindling in this generation.
The impact of the service extended beyond the walls of the venue. It was a prophetic statement to the nation and the world: while many search for answers in turmoil and protest, the Church already stands with blessed assurance. Christ Jesus, who sealed victory by His cross, confirmed it by His resurrection, and fans its flame through the fire of revival burning in our midst, remains the unshakable foundation of hope. This assurance is not passive—it is active, vibrant, and victorious. It is the heartbeat of a Church alive in purpose and power.
Throughout the service, testimonies of transformation and renewed faith emerged. Young and old alike were stirred to recommit their lives, to serve with greater zeal, and to walk boldly in the calling God has placed upon them. The unity among districts—Northwestern Luzon and Western Pangasinan—was a testament to the strength of fellowship and the beauty of shared worship. It was a glimpse of heaven on earth, where every voice joined in harmony to exalt the name of Jesus.
This is our vibrant victory. This is Christ’s triumph in us. It is not confined to a single day or event—it is a lifestyle of praise, a posture of surrender, and a declaration of faith. As the service concluded, the cry of thanksgiving continued to echo in the hearts of all who attended. To God be all the glory!
