GUNMA, JAPAN — Believers from local churches across Japan gathered at the National Akagi Youth Friendship Center in Gunma from May 1–4, 2026, for the highly anticipated Japan District Camp 2026. Anchored on the theme, “Maturity in Christ: The Goal of Every Believer” (Colossians 1:28), the four-day spiritual gathering focused on strengthening faith, fostering unity, and encouraging believers to pursue deeper commitment to God’s calling.

The camp brought together ministers, workers, youth, and adult delegates from across the Japan District for a meaningful experience filled with worship, biblical teaching, fellowship, leadership development, and evangelistic empowerment.

Japan District Camp 2026 Opens with a Powerful Welcome Night

The camp officially commenced with a vibrant Welcome Night highlighted by an inspiring opening presentation from the Tokyo Locale. The presentation set the tone for the event by emphasizing the importance of spiritual growth and maturity in Christ.

Praise and worship led by the Japan Gospel Choir united delegates in an atmosphere of anticipation and thanksgiving. The program was hosted by Sister Clariz Tabuniar, while Presbyter Maya Cruz warmly welcomed participants and expressed gratitude for God’s continuous blessings upon the district.

A special Executive Report highlighted the accomplishments and milestones achieved throughout the Japan District, showcasing God’s faithfulness in the ministry.

The evening culminated with the preaching of God’s Word by Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, who challenged believers to pursue spiritual maturity and remain steadfast in fulfilling God’s purpose for their lives.

Japan District Camp 2026 Equips Delegates Through Worship and Seminars

Day two featured a series of worship services, seminars, and ministry-focused activities designed to strengthen the faith and commitment of the delegates.

The day began with Sunday School and a Worship Service, where Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol delivered messages encouraging believers to remain faithful in their calling and continue growing spiritually.

In the afternoon, delegates attended departmentalized seminars tailored to different age groups and ministry responsibilities. The Youth Seminar was led by Pastor Jobelle Alina, while Presbyter Ruben Ventura and Presbyter Nimfa Barrera ministered during the Adult Seminar. Church leaders and workers also received valuable instruction through the Elders Seminar.

One of the day’s major highlights was the Home Free Global Crusade Night, where delegates expressed their support for the Church’s evangelistic mission through testimonies, presentations, and special participation. The gathering emphasized the importance of soul-winning and advancing the Gospel through the continuing work of the Home Free Global Crusade.

Delegates also benefited from a seminar conducted by Evangelist Leticia S. Ferriol, while the Morning Worship Service featured the message of Presbyter Maritess Ferriol.

A Ministers’ Lunch Fellowship with Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol provided an opportunity for church leaders to strengthen relationships and receive encouragement for ministry. Team-building activities also fostered greater unity and fellowship among delegates.

The highlight of the day was the AMP-MBSI Dedication Night, where Bible students and young believers publicly expressed their commitment to serve God and participate in His mission. Through worship, prayer, and dedication, many reaffirmed their calling to ministry and service.

Delegates then gathered for the Victory Service, a joyful celebration of God’s goodness and faithfulness throughout the four-day camp. The service featured praise and worship, thanksgiving, and reflections on the spiritual blessings received during the event.

Presbyter Maya Cruz delivered a heartfelt Message of Appreciation, expressing gratitude to the ministers, workers, volunteers, and delegates whose dedication contributed to the success of the camp.

The program concluded with an Awarding Ceremony recognizing various teams and delegates for their participation and achievements throughout the gathering.
