Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines — A powerful new chapter in the history of the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) was written as the highly anticipated Pan-Mindanao Summit 2025 convened on June 18–19 at the Dahilayan Forest Park Resort, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. This historic event brought together ministers, leaders, and delegates from the five major districts in Mindanao—CARAGA, Davao, Northern Mindanao, SOCCSKSARGEN, and Zamboanga—for a Spirit-filled summit focused on vision, unity, and apostolic growth.

Held under the theme “Charting a New Course of Apostolic Expansion in Mindanao,” the summit marked a significant spiritual milestone. Over two days of worship, plenary sessions, and apostolic guidance, participants were recharged with renewed zeal to fulfill the Church’s end-time mission across the island region long known as the “Land of Promise.”

A Grand Opening: Vision for Mindanao’s Future

The summit opened with vibrant worship led by Pastor Michelle Pampang, followed by a heartfelt opening prayer by Presbyter Jun Partisala. Pastor Luisito Pablo delivered the welcome remarks, expressing gratitude for Mindanao’s opportunity to serve as a staging ground for strategic apostolic advancement.

Presbyter Dana Serrano formally introduced the five regional districts and acknowledged the honored members of the Apostolic Council and Cabinet. The highlight of the opening program was the keynote message by Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, who described Mindanao’s growing population, increasing urbanization, and youthful energy as indicators of rich harvest opportunities.

“This is more than a summit,” Apostle Jonathan declared. “This is the dawn of a new chapter in Gospel expansion across Mindanao.”

Day One: Strengthening the Church from Within

The first plenary day was filled with targeted teachings and ministry updates designed to strengthen internal capacities:

  • Health and Wellness: Presbyter Levi and Sister Jackie Ferriol presented findings from the Mindanao ministers’ health report and unveiled new plans to roll out the Goodman Health Program in the region.

  • Ministerial Development: Presbyter Lily Ferriol introduced the Ministerial Resources Committee, which will support the spiritual and practical growth of ministers and ensure leadership sustainability.

  • Disaster Preparedness: Presbyter Jim Bigalbal emphasized equipping churches for natural calamities and improving the Church’s response to community emergencies.

  • Church Property and Legal Forum: An open forum with Presbyter Jhun Marbida, Pastor Ricel Garcia, Atty. Benjamin Sico, and Elders Lito and Vangie Salvan provided insights into responsible property acquisition, building compliance, and legal frameworks for church construction.

The day closed with a powerful evening worship service led by Bishop Aldrin Palanca, who introduced “The M.A.N. Model: Three Pillars of Pastoral Management”—highlighting diplomacy, uncompromising policy, and unwavering apostolic values.

Day Two: Evangelism, Digital Mission, and Practical Ministry

The second day spotlighted tools and strategies for effective outreach and modern ministry:

  • Intercultural Evangelism: Bishop Aldrin Palanca shared insights on reaching diverse ethnic groups across Mindanao while remaining faithful to the core Gospel message.

  • Digital Evangelism: Pastor Charisse Ong stressed the power of media in spreading the Gospel, calling ministers to embrace digital platforms as tools for soul-winning and church growth.

  • Practical Ministry Forum: A panel led by Bishop Samuel Ferriol, Pastor Kirsten Ferriol, Presbyter Dong Larga, Atty. Benjamin Sico, and Pastor Ricel Garcia addressed the often-overlooked ministries of administration, operations, and support systems that help the Church function with excellence.

Apostolic Commissioning: A Call to Action

The summit culminated in a deeply moving closing worship service, where Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol once again addressed the entire assembly with passion and conviction.

“Believe what God has called you to be,” he declared. “You are God’s chosen ones, and that is your greatest strength.”

Apostle Jonathan commissioned every attending minister to go forth with renewed purpose—leading with integrity, walking in holiness, and preaching with apostolic fire.

A New Era for Mindanao’s Apostolic Mission

The Pan-Mindanao Summit 2025 was not merely a two-day conference—it was a prophetic gathering, a divine appointment, and a launching pad for spiritual breakthroughs across the region. Delegates departed with clear vision, a sense of unity, and an urgent calling to expand the work of the Gospel.

Truly, the “Land of Promise” has been awakened for a new season of apostolic victory.

To God be all the glory! Dalaygon ang Dios!
